Before any buffs to the tiger, id rather specifically look at the clearly OP jackson. imo they defo need a moving accuracy nerf, they no longer a TD u have to flank with and make them more vulnerable getting caught out. The amount of times i flanked and caught a Jackson with my panther, only for the panther to miss every shot while the jackson moves and hits all of its shots, ridiculous. Point is every 60 range TD has strong advantages and strong disadvantages, however the Jackson's advantages greatly overshadows its weaknesses. All factions also have a vehicle that is able to take a beating, either stock or doctrinally. All but USF. See a pattern here? You start to figure out what it might be, or more hints are needed? The Tank battle u may think of is sherman against Tiger. The regular is that Jacksons and SU 85 stomp the Axis Tanks while they cant fight back. The only Tank that trade ok is the Panther. And thats the reason why u see so much Panther`s in the current Meta. Tank destroyers hardcounter tanks. That's their one and only job. Big tanks are still tanks. You want Tiger to counter its own hardcounter. You're running into a wall here. In: COH2 Balance

JP4 is NOT meant to go up against IS-2. Panther is. Just sit there and wait for the Axis tanks to get in range. While Axis HAVE TO flank to even get in Range or to have any chance against a SU 85 wall. Well, you don't have to flank with Panthers, so why allies should with their top tier TDs? You want to see TDs weaker? Then scrap down that armor on axis armor. In: COH2 Balance

Most tiger is very good when used as a vs infantry sniper cannon, but when it comes to vs tank, it feels like it can not play own role. I think that Tiger can show good evaluation enough with a little concept adjustment. There is ONE tank on allies side where tiger doesn't roflstomp it and that's IS-2. I think its AT is good enough. One has to either compare everything in squad level where a Riflemen Squad has more EHP than Grenadiers Squad (for slightly less DPS at long range) or Everything at entity level where grenadier are more expensive. Bottom line what ever comparison ones uses that cheaper Riflemen would make USF OP vs Ostheer. Unless you want to argue that Riflemen should be cheaper and that would not cause any issues vs Ostheer. That is another nice but false theory. Rifles are more expensive squad then grens by a large margain(especially considering that volks are just 10mp more expensive then grens and at least 20% stronger then them, completely stomping cons unless vet3 and ppsh are in the picture), therefore they perform better overall, as they should. Everything else is irrelevant here, especially per entity comparisons, which have absolutely no place between squads with different number of entities. And I never said Rifles should be cheaper, I completely disagree with OP. I merely pointed out the fact that its completely moot to compare units on any other basis then squad vs squad. The only picture you'll get is that less entities squads reinforce individually for more, but reinforcing full squad from 1 man is still cheaper, so the final picture is game is balanced around SQUAD formations and individual model comparison invokes massive bias due to not taking into account squad as a whole. The chance to hit and penetrate the majority of armor is simply way too high. And it will stay this high, unless you have a next suggestion, where you'll give all 3 allied factions Panther level tank which would excel at anti heavy duty, but then you'd complain only that kind of vehicle sees the light of the day. The only good thing for Tiger is its machine guns but you also have to pay munition for them and they are sustain dps not high alpha damage which is what a heavy tank want since they are slow and will get evaded by the enemy. Its scatter makes it hit infantry extremely frequently... AoE is to no longer have it 2 shot all of them. In: COH2 Balance
