Not easy to determine, but maybe if we can allow UKF to at least get a minor refund on emplacements it'd help. I don't see why people would get it if it was suppression platform when, well, there is HMG for that. Also, no one in his right mind would even consider the 15 fuel side unlock, much less the actual emplacement cost. You need to remember it competes with AEC, it needs to do its job and it needs to do it well enough to give AEC up and pay that 60 fuel minimum(unlock+cost)(it still does cost 45 fuel, right? Bofors is supposed to have an army around it to be worth its cost but volks are supposed to win most engagements frontally and especially against Supression platforms with the micro tax on the not owk player due to their raw independence. This is a well known factor in balancing In case you are actually serious here: So it shouldn't cost more then 10-20 fuel if it isn't even capable of fending off a light vehicle or most basic infantry squad, especially since it exposes you to light vehicle play around whole map by locking AEC out. Emplacements may not be most pleasent way to play CoH, but this one should be cost efficient given conditions it requires to build, not just "demo charge'd" out of the game. In: COH2 Balance

Don't try to settle the issue with JP4 which misses even when standing still Please, explain to me in great detail, why does it matter for ATG to have equal range with TD, when no amount of TDs or ATGs(with exception of ZiS) poses any kind of threat to ATG? Test it for yourself. Might be abandon being broken, only causing the engine crit but not decrewing the vehicle. "5% health crit" is what happens, its a low chance that vehicle gets engine or gun destroyed critical instead of dying and its here since day 1. If you see it more often out of sudden, its bad luck. If you surprised this game was bad, not me, i played tons 2v2 and ukf can dominate with late game Churchills, 2 Churchill 2xRE piats and FF behind, then you throw tons of arty at the problem. I think reducing its damage from 160 to 120 can be a start. And what you are actually trying to counter that almost 500 fuel with? 1 panther? Also, reducing churchills damage is not only stupid, it does absolutely nothing to all of its match ups, it will still lose against panther and will still win against p4, so that's a pointless suggestion. If 1 "cheaper 60 range tank" is enough to shut your all armor, you have some serious learning of play to do. Alternatively, stop spamming panthers against units that aren't even in opponents doctrinal choice? Panther isn't answer to all golden boy, other units are more suited for other situations, you know, like countering TDs. If allies can deal with ele and JT, you are mentally capable of learning to deal with much more fragile, less threatening and lower range versions too. In: COH2 Balance

Damage sponge units tend to do very well against "low" DPS units. If you try to counter churchill with a panther, you have failed miserably as you need a volume of fire, not consistency of penetration against it. In: COH2 Balance
