He probably confused this thread with the one where people talk their coh2 dreams.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

All these 4v4 activists reminds me of CoH2 version of FEMEN. 4v4 is not and will never be balanced, get over it, its impossible. In: COH2 Balance |

I didn't mean you here, I meant sierra. Reading comprehension on the context of the post you quote and previous posts from the discussion it might refer to please. So about that reading more carefully thing... Also while I fully accept asymethrical balance, what I don't accept(or find it hard to accept) is that most of the better counterparts end up on german side. Why? Why armies based on battered army groups with armed teenagers and recovered casualties with shortage of supplies almost always end up with much better and stronger stuff while opponents are stuck with early/pre war equipment despite being based on late war armies as well? This is my only beef. In: COH2 Balance |

So you'd take barbarians squad with clubs and give in return effective ambush squad with really great long and short range dps that can spawn out of buildings allowing to actually breaking german infantry maginots line instead of throwing a molo and running home after realising you were issued blanks(partisans)? Since for soviets it would change a whooping nothing(you'd still face maxims or snipers and conscripts and penals would still be useless), where do I sign up? I don't believe falls are that much of a problem, your comparison of falls to shocks is beyond retarded, its like comparing a boat to an airplane, but saying they are like partisans also makes any player who have ever used partisans burst with laughter. If fallshirms were ever to be changed in any way, I'd make them much cheaper and put FGs as 50-70 muni upgrade. But I'd much rather give acute munitions to partisans. In: COH2 Balance |

is he saying real ranks, like in coh1, that would be so great No, he isn't. He is talking about rank decay. In: Lobby |

I know what did you meant. Hence the part about initial shock value that is lower with storms and extremely high with fallshirms, haven't played against new JLI used in ambushing way yet, but of all squads spawning on the building, storms are most balanced ones. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Fallschirmjager 17 Sep 2014, 11:13 AM
Relic isn't going to change that meta since they implemented storm troopers at the same level - but for Ostheer. Actually, storms are an example of WELL implemented squad that can deploy behind the lines. Another one would be paratroopers. Why? Because you spawn a squad that can do something, yet doesn't OMGWTFBBQ everything (like old JLI and fallshirms) and still scales later good with decent weapon upgrades and default abilities so its affordable to keep up and useful after the initial push/spawn(unlike partisans). Thread: Why were scripts nerfed again 2 patches ago?17 Sep 2014, 05:31 AM
Except their close range DPS got unchanged, gren survivability went up by about 10% and con survivability dropped by about 9%. So while they will beat grens, they have harder time doing so them pre patch. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Fallschirmjager 17 Sep 2014, 05:10 AM
You realize that Soviets have the same exact thing with Partisans and Irregulars right? Damn, I wish soviets had 44-16dps partisans with rec acc modifier increasing their survival. If you loose unit different then a scout car to partisans you should quit the game forever. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Thoughts on ISU-15216 Sep 2014, 20:19 PM
I always though at 310 the ISU152 had too much front armor. If that number is brought down to where shreks can penetrate it most of the time and paks all the time then the ISU152 would become acceptable. Just like its a threat to almost everything, almost all AT weapons should be a threat to it. That will make it less of "I win button" that it is now. While we're at it, can we take down elephant and jagdtiger armor down so T34 and ZiS-3 can penetrate it most of the time frontally, because I too want to a-move super heavy units frontally with stuff its supposed to counter.
