That makes absolutely no sense no matter how you look at it.
Heavy armor call-in problem won't ever be solved unless we will get a hardcap of 1 at a time or distinct exploitable disadvantage that mediums could exploit.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Thread: Conversion abilities destroy flow22 Apr 2015, 08:31 AM
Soviet industry is extremely unfair to the soviet player actually as you have no control over conversion, benefit is not instant and disadvantages heavily outweighs advantages(have fun arguing that, the popularity and presence of industry doctrine in the games speaks for itself). With CAS conversion its 100% your call, you don't need it, you don't use it, you need it, there, instant reward! So you have picked a really bad example to compare. If one resource conversion ability is plain OP, its this one as all others give up something that can't be made up for or are counterable or dependent on additional factors. Industry will punish you sooner or later because of constant penalty that fuel does not make up for. Opels can be destroyed. Luftwaffe supply drops can be stolen, require your unit to be there and are extended over 1 minute. OKW conversion is dependent on territory capped, doesn't grant instant reward and you are slowing down your other resource income akin to industry, but you can switch and turn it off at will. CAS conversion(which is also present in other doctrine, but isn't as imbalanced there) is simple click for reward with little choice as you are still able to tech and get armor reliably. What I don´t like in Soviets is that they are overpowered in 2v2. Thats OKW volks. 2) with a general ammunition flow and cheap mines, No real surprise here as mines are the only non doctrinal thing that soviets can spend the muni on next to demos. Soviet players would love to have a choice to use that on various non doctrinal infantry weapon, light armor and tank upgrades, believe me. Munition float is meaningless if you have nothing to spend it on. Pick any doctrine with guards and you'll be munition starved. 3) to the best and most devastating artillery mid game, Kat + 120mm, Thats OKW Stuka. 4) to superior armor late game. Yes, IS-2 and T-34/85 + mark vehicle are better than Tiger and Panther, ISU-152 is better than Elefant in its utility. KT is the superior armor. Panther is the superior armor. IS-2 overpowered Tiger and Panther anyway, so I don't see a reason why you are worked up about it-contrary to krupp steel religion, not everything that germans put tracks and cannon on was superior to soviet equivalents. T34/85 is on pair with P4 in performance and surviability(more hp vs more armor). OKW Mark target is better then sov one, cheaper and comes with 50 sight, 50 range 260 penetration tank, I'd consider that superior. Get ele or JT on field and ISU will be as good as 24 pop cap blockade that needs to stay back. Two Soviets in the game on equal skill? = gg Same could be said about OKW+ CAS Ost. Great synergies are not exclusive to allies you know. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Vast majority? Stuka zu fuss is OKW, AA HT is okw. Sturmtiger is OKW, dual HMG works, but not as good as Ost ones. Pinplane, loiter and pin-on-demand is Ost(retreat or die), Brummbar is Ost, duel HMG works, pwerfer is all about RNG. Soviets have demo, propaganda arty ![]() USF have doctrinal demos ![]() You might want to review your definition of "vast majority". In: COH2 Gameplay |

Because soviets are frustrating both to play with and against. They are focused on doctrines and gimmicks, they can't fight on pair against anyone without elite infantry and call-in armor. Even the FOTM tank hunters are not as potent now that people actually learned to counter them and once the early power of the doctrine is stopped, there is nothing in late game that would contest axis. You can go for early game, fast game closing gimmicks or stall for 10cp+ for call-ins, you try anything in between and play with normal tiers, you lose. @Burts I played him recently, not sure if he played soviets or USF, but he did played on allied side. If you want to point him anything, then point him out his infinite hypocrisy and why he wasn't bitching constantly when OKW was more OP then march deployment wehr G43 grenspam for the last 6 months. And the Blitzkrieg of panthers, tigers were supposed to be the counterplay of the noob-friendly stupid one click and win mark target, got nerfed into nothing but 30 muni into trash can, AGAIN. Still beats what soviet armor gets for vet, still allows for speedy retreats, unchanged for 100% of medium tanks. Blitz was never meant to be free out of jail card, which it always was. And please, tell me, what is supposed counterplay for OKW mark target of command panther against soviet armor? Are they supposed to cap points to death? You want a good example of noob friendly click and win ability? Try Combat blitz and blitzkrieg or command panther much stronger mark target(the panther also happens to spot for itself). You can be axis fanboy all you want, but don't be a hypocrite at least. In: COH2 Gameplay |
