I don't really know any reason why anyone would blob a unit this expensive, they are extremely effective when positioned behind green cover. Relic nerfed obers because they were batshit op still after many previous nerfs, I haven't seen anyone complaining about falls, they might not be a model infantry, but they certainly aren't too weak nor too strong. And how come the m3 eventually dropped the squad off and still didn't take any damage by small arms fire until a raketten werfer hit it? Rifles aren't really good light armor counter, low RoF and 20% chance to penetrate isn't what you want to fight vehicles with. In: COH2 Bugs

Basically, grenspam is weak, slap a sniper or a pair of HMG42 and you don't need to stretch as much. Obviously playing like you would play sov or USF(single independent squads all over the map) won't get you far as you can't be as aggressive as these two. In: COH2 Balance

You can do some controversy in the game and that=free advertisement, but if something is bad in the game and the word spreads, a lot of potential players might not even try the game in the first place. The games has gone through like 12 sales with the price of that dropped to less than 10 dollars, anyone who wanted it has already bought it. Making that F2P would bring in more people who are likely to buy the other factions and the existing content. You don't really realize how it really is. F2P literally does not mean free2play. Well, if you were some super casual about coh, sure, otherwise stuff like bulletins/commanders loosing HP or all commanders except for basic ones being only temporary, which you'd constantly have to rebuy/refill/repair, all basic features we have now(1 free tow, sov campaign) would be locked behind DLC. Free2play model doesn't exist to make games for free, it exists because it makes money and a damn good money. I don't believe few more players are worth introducing micropays that would force every single serious player into basically a subscription for playing the game. In: Lobby

Actually there was a reason. Mines, all of them, AoE got increased to compensate for more spread infantry formations now. Not much you can do when walking around corners though. In: COH2 Balance

Watching him bumbling around was painful though. SEGA, EA, Ubisoft, even Square Enix. All of the "big players" go for what can leech most money and because it works and because players buy everything contrary to what 1% on forum screams it will only further go in that direction. Why do you think all AAA games are littered with DLCs and micropays? Why there is an avalanche of bad F2P games recently? Why literally ALL of indie games are success? People are willing to throw away money, players are lowering their standards and will buy anything and everything, when they have a feeling that extra money will help them win, they will go for it. CoH2 isn't an exception here, we can either take what content they give us or quit gaming at all, because we won't change masses literally throwing money at shitty games and supporting shitty monetization decisions with their own wallets.
