(180 for SU-85, 170 for JP4, 160 for Jackson at long). However the turret allows it to do what no other TD can do - flank -, and it gets HVAP shells at Vet 1 so I feel the Jackson's gun is pretty good, except for the annoying tendency to miss its shots at long range. The real problem comes from its squishiness, especially to Panzerschrecks. And due to its cost and squishiness it should never be used to flank and should always be used at max range. The m10 is the only practical flanking Tank destroyer due to its superior speed blitz ability and cost. For all intents and purposes its armor value is the same as in everything penetrates both and the Jackson merely has 80 more HPs In: COH2 Balance

The Jackson has the lowest pen and DPS...all that is good about is turret...it's not the fastest tank not the longest range nor the highest pen nor the highest DPS. It has slot of front loaded damage that balanced by its slower reload then other dedicated tds In: COH2 Balance

I have personally seen the no animation bug I have also had several "Delayed Responses" GRENADE yelled as it lands rather then when its fired. Rnade makes Precision strike look forgiving nowadays. Not to mention the bonuses they get with lmg; mines, sandbags etc. With bars rifles just melt grens in medium range since they buffed them. Playing as U.S. sucked when it first came out, it's got a pretty steep learning curve IMO. Edit: and about Jacksons, when you get one, never lose it. When it gets to vet 3 it has insane dps and I think it can fight panthers head on. A vet 3 Jackson destroys a tiger extremely fast, from the rear in 3 hits. You can have 2 jacksons on the field as well when he get a tiger. us got greatly buffed when they shorted all vehicle build times IMO. No they dont Get a second one. They can spend muni to buy a second one. And LMGs for Rifles are Doctrine specific same with sandbags etc. Otherwise they just get Mediocre BARs. And after spending 290 MP 120 Muni to compete with 240MP 60 muni is not cost effective. This is the opposite of how the war went with USF having more numerous and cheaper things while the Germans had less and more expensive things. IRL doesnt make for a good argument to game balance but I think its kind of funny. And lets not talk about how the Jackson is worse at actually Tank Destroying then the JP4 and the SU85. The Jackson is not good enough to be the top of the USF tech tree. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW Retreating Squads Stuck at Truck27 Nov 2014, 04:02 AM Same thing happens to USF but not as bad. 20 seconds is as long as I have seen them stuck retreating. With the USF it seems to be related to what retreat path the units take and how the USF base is angled on the map. It may be the same with how the medic truck is laid on the map. In: COH2 Bugs

That and when the bonuses hit. Higher DPS leads to more vet. So rifles not only require more xp but don't gain the ability to generate vet faster. In: COH2 Balance

Even though riflemen pay for the addtional model through a higher manpower cost. So Vet 2 to Vet 2 Grens with LMGs will be at an advantage against a vet 2 Rifle with an LMG. In: COH2 Balance
