The solution we have now is total fail. Why are we taking a choice away from the players? All options should be available to a player after they have weighed the pros and cons of their decision. This heavy tank limit doesn't even affect all Factions equally. Again, good idea...bad implementation. Want to get your two heavy tanks? Its going to cost you more then just resources but a good part of your pop cap as well. In: COH2 Balance |

Yep. My opinion on this balance change is that while it was done with good intention it missed the mark. It should have been done by doubling or tripling pop cap of the heavy tanks. In: COH2 Balance |

In some cases I agree, HMG42 is so powerfull against squads in green cover I agree. No real difference between Green/Yellow/Red cover. Narrow maps now go on the veto list. Additionally the incendiary rounds are OP and still have been for a long time. Have you tried them with this patch. You should. For all HMG Troops stay suppressed far too long once the HMG has left the area. This is also a flash back to CoH2 launch discussions about the MG42. My initial impressions is that the MG change brought us back to launch date in terms of balance of them. While this change may have been necessary for blob control it is going to solidify Axis superiority in narrow maps. Nearly all Soviet indirect fire has been nerfed and they lack smoke (except for Shock Troops). Interesting times a head. In: COH2 Gameplay |
