People in my skill bracket have discovered this, and it's really, really frustrating Well generally I just ride it out hoping I don't take too much damage. Here is a replay against strafe without using halftrack upgunned. 1 VS Fanity S73v0 S73v0 vs Fanity by: S73v0 map: Moscow Outskirts 1 - So in general split your troops up, keep an eye on the plane as when it turns around you know where it is going to shoot next. Use hit the dirt if it is conscripts in the line of fire or retreat if it is a different infantry unit. Spread your vehicles out cause vehicles attract strafe fire and take no damage. You want the strafe targeting your vehicles. Other than that not much you can do except limit the ostheer munitions by killing their trucks. It still is extremely frustrating to play against, (in the replay above the first strafe killed my sniper and guards squad), but nothing you can do until next patch. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Maxim spam is worse than playing against Brits8 Jul 2013, 08:43 AM So I played a few games yesterday as Ostheer and almost 80% of the players on auto utilised some maxim spam strategy. They simply A-move it everywhere and if it gets into a house there is nothing you can do about it. Most annoying strategy ever and the matchup comes down to whether the flamer halftrack can decrew all the AT guns and maxims or will the AT gun 2-shot the halftrack... This is 10x worse than Brits as they just a-move their invincible maxims everywhere. Even clown cars are a breeze compared to this, they are so fragile and easy to go down. Maxims on the other hand is impossible to flank and almost never go down except to flamer halftrack. While I managed to win most of the games, they were the most long boring games I've ever had in coh1 and coh2. Forget clown cars, Relic please nerf maxim spam into the ground thanks. Thread: How do you play that Moscow map?6 Jul 2013, 10:59 AM This is a very good replay for Ostheer on this map. 1 VS aSIISymbiosis S73v0 S73v0 vs Symbiosis again by: S73v0 map: Moscow Outskirts 3 - Keep your pak and mgs near the middle and halftrack to prevent the soviets from overruning your positions and send your grens to harass the fuels. If he goes for T3 for T70 once you get your p4 out it's all over for him since T3 is very very bad as anti armour. In: Ostheer Strategies

Thread: S73v0 vs Symbiosis again4 Jul 2013, 06:26 AM Yes he is better than me, but that just shows that if everyone got better at the game as Ostheer you can still beat soviets regardless of any imbalances in the game. I went T4 not T3. If I went T3 I would have had nothing to counter the quick p4 symbi had thanks to the opel blitz trucks. Believe me I have tried quick T70 and it has not worked against symbiosis. He had a pak so I couldn't pursue his p4... In: Replays
