There is one way to counter a single Kubel push though, I've recently discovered. Unfortunately it requires getting a Rare commander(Easy8 doc). Basically you deploy a vetted rifle squad early on, and hope you're able to at nade the kubel by surprise. Then finish it off. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Are kubelwagens OP15 Sep 2014, 13:00 PM Can't do much as Merika' vs dbl Kubel until the Lt. comes out at around the 5-6 min mark. Then you can get an MG or Mobile car or AAHT. Comes down to trying to avoid the obvious Kubel positions and either A. camping in buildings, or B. hiding behind them and attempting to flank the Kubels. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Allies is hurting this game for new players.15 Sep 2014, 01:51 AM I think the biggest problem is late game with vetted LMG grens, big armor(tigers,KTs,Panthers), and elite inf(OKW). Riflemen don't stand up to a lot of the stuff out there, even at vet 3 with lmgs or bars equipped, as well as conscripts and maxims. Not saying we should nerf late game OKW inf and LMG grens, and buff maxims and cons, but I'd like to find a way to balance out the early/mid/late game a little better. It's a problem that certain factions shine early game, suck late game, or rock late game, and are okay early game, etc.. In: COH2 Gameplay

Great game though. Yet he was able to win the game with simply a fraction of the map as OKW. Which makes your statement invalid. Imagine if he had at least half the map as OKW, bet it would hurt more. OKW is the strongest faction atm. It was nice to see OMGPOP's defensive play-style, as he is usually 100% aggressive. Think the biggest problem here, other than the lack of arty due to doctrine choice, was the fact that Para piece-mealed all his tanks instead of building up a big force to send in and finish the game. Meanwhile you've thrown away your chance of getting an M20 out so opponent will just reinforce the pin. +1 It really comes down to if you're able to flank the Kubel and keep it off your side of the map. You have no real options until the Lt. comes out. It's the only way atm. In: Replays
