Thread: What good is the tiger tank?11 May 2015, 07:02 AM It's a punch taker. And while it's doing that, it gains vet. And after getting veterancy, it comes dangerous. It also wipes squads left and right if they are clumped. To be honest, I find it using less and less but in 2vs2's, if other player goes for Panthers, then you have a dangerous combo. Also with Pak's of course but that requires some extra micro. In: Lobby

It's a normal contract. You have to sign these in normal life also. In this case you're just accepting the terms but it's a similar electronic signature. In real life, would you go apeshit and encourage to break the contract? Most likely not. I'm not in alpha and I'm not mad either. I will decide later if the content is worth getting (most likely I will get it, since I still find CoH2 interesting). For moderating the NDA, this is a fan site. I don't see a problem to follow similar guidelines that the company tells to follow. Also the comparison that why should we bend to Relic when they don't give anything to us, again.. It's a fan site. At first it was ridiculously OP and now it's high risk low reward. Soviet industry needs to be remaked or simply removed. I think it's atleast high risk medium reward. Atleast with arranged teams (talking about 2vs2). If early game goes well (no miracle wipes from enemy mortar etc.), mid game harassment goes average or better, then there's a good chance that the game is in your pocket. If your mate has nice amount of infantry left (and even better, you have). KV2's are beasts in some maps. Only counter that I actually fear in that case is CAS. I've had game where I faced jagdtiger and even that couldn't take down my front line. I had 2 KV2's protecting against schrecks (and other infantry). In front of those I had few AT guns (I think 2 zis and one stolen pak) and for final touch I still had couple of vetted T34's. So I don't think it needs rework. It just requires combination of good early game and good map for it. (Or atleast don't remove it, I still like to use it 1 game out of ~5 games ) In: COH2 Gameplay

There are A LOT of so-called "non-meta" play styles posted here and people claim that they are viable and you can win with them, but we have countless threads about how "stale" the game is right now. Exactly. I think the keyword here is that in "competitive setting". There they might not work. If you're Random Joe and most likely not capable of pulling miracles from your sleeves and you enjoy trying new stuff, there are things you can try and it's real fun when they are succeed. Thread: Non meta units/commanders you play5 May 2015, 07:21 AM Yesterday I played one game with my mate with Festung Armor Doctrine in Semo Winter. It's not something you see too often. I picked that up after noticing my opponent didn't go to 120mm mortars. They had few 82mm mortars but my mate got Walking Stuka so they didn't really work. Then I just created few PAK43 to cover mid and left VP's behind the shot blockers. Microing such many T3 tanks is a bit tricky though. However in the end I managed to get VET3 Command Tank which was quite a beast versus inf. Only problem was at one point that my PAK43 almost destroyed my mates T3 structure because it was trying to hit tanks. Fun game for sure. In: COH2 Gameplay
