When you 3 idiots are done with posting the same crap over and over again go watch the replay and see that neither the sniper nor the mortar is a good counter to the maxim. Why do you ask? well the mortar is completely luck dependant and lovnest luck with his mt-ht was just bad. the sniper has just as little effect as the difference between a 1 man maxim and 6 is nothing not to mention they only cost 15 mp to reinforce.
Now go away and show us some fucking replays where you own maxim spam.
You dont get it right? You need to exploit a builds weakness in order to counter it. Snipers, Grens and Mortars help you with that. I didnt see a single post of you complaining about Germans. Literally. Are you really that narrow minded? You struggle vs Maxims in a 1v1 and apparently refuse to adapt? Are you unable to see that a T2 heavy build has some serious weaknesses and that you need to exploit them? Really? |

I think that the capping system actually improves the game and opens up new tactical options. Support weapons are one of them. Deal with it.

Try Maxim spam yourself against a decent player. You will get murdered, i guarantee you that.
You know what the best non doctrinal counter to Maxim spam is? Snipers, good Gren micro and Mortars.
You can throw some Mortar halftracks in if you want.
Its pathetic how you always need to whine about Soviets. Shouldnt Soviets have something cost effective for once? Or is Soviet unit = German unit for the same cost bad balance?

If equal price unit of similar(not same) role is superior in some aspect for germans, its asymetrical balance.
If equal price unit of similar role is superior in some aspect for soviets, its bad balance.
Did I got you right? Because thats exactly what you have said.
If you are loosing to Maxim spam, you're doing something terribly wrong, like refusing to use mortars or snipers.
And don't give me crap about sov sniper, it doesn't exist in sov T2, if you refuse to use proper units to counter specific unit, its your fault, not games balance.

I love Kharkov, both Semo's and maybe Rails for 2v2.
In 1v1 its my all time fav Langres Summer along with Kharkov.
Worst maps are Minsk, Rzhev Winter for 2v2 and Minsk, Langres Winter, Crossing for 1v1.
I dont like Crossing because its all about who gets the PAKwall or the super range tank first. |
Great work by the OP. I like many others would love to see a Japanese faction. And I think many fancy both the challenge and variety of a faction not so tied up in heavy tanks. With things like Ostwind and Sturmtiger in the game there is absolutely no reason why the late-war Jp tanks can be included. And so what if they cannot go toe 2 toe with Russias finest?
Give the Japanese different abilities to make them different and interesting, more heavy shore bombardment fex, other ideas are bicycle troops that can move quickly around the battlefield (as used in Singapore). And the crazy idea of sub-launched balloon attacks against the West coast. Could be smth like a 2 CP ability that at the cost of 30 munitions or so launches some weather balloons that slowly make their way to the enemy base landing for a small incendiary effect. Yes, weak, but, different.
So you want a faction that is all about gimmicks but not about actual solid power. |
The Elephant is not OP because in 1v1 it is useless.
