It could help extending the period in which T-70/ T-34/76 can do the most damage as well so it could be a nice change. helping Soviet tech a bit. It makes sense as Grens comes with Panzerfaust from the beginning. In: COH2 Balance

Even if you molotov move onto a stationary LMGd gren in a vacuum, you'll lose 2-3 man before you even throw that molotov. Then the gren makes a step outside the flames and continues to batter your man. And mortar is just ridiculous. The probability to hit in this small timeframe is too low to rely on it. I'd rather build another cons and flank with them then try with a mortar. I'm not talking about frontal attack and mortar works just fine for me. Maybe it's about the way in which you're utilizing the unit? In: COH2 Balance

Thread: An essay on Soviets and a radical proposal16 Oct 2013, 10:43 AM Just in general. I think is about Soviets lacking a valid AT option like Germans have. Panther, Tiger - there are excellent tanks and Soviet only safe option is IS-2 but this is expensive, late game and still very vulnerable. You can't relax for a moment as Soviet because every mistake can cost you a game. It's not the same for Germans. You only have to build critical mass of tanks and you're safe. You'll gain Vet1 eventually. It's not that its very hard to get and then you can roll over the battlefield smoking and blitzing to safety when needed. SU-85 nerf was too much. Yeah I know it should be a defensive unit, kept at back but again with blitz it's like walking in the park for a Panther to get behind. It's not even that Panther needed a boost against SU-85. The only thing this tank destroyer dominated was PIV. Panther could and still can go toe to toe with SU-85. In: COH2 Balance

I'd gladly see them removing ram completely and doing T34 decent tank. T34-85 should be buffed as right now there is no point of saving for one as you get better options plus IS-2 is a must in a team/longer game as it's only answer for a Tiger. SU-85 are too risky now due to nerfs and blitzkrieg. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: German flexibility vs Soviet flexibility 13 Oct 2013, 23:07 PM In my opinion the main problem is that with Soviets you're picking specific strategy and after that is all about execution of that strategy. You pick specific commander and you're forced to fallow specific build order and have specific units on the field or you will loose. There is a synergy between some of the Soviets units and knowing it and be able to utilize it in battle will give you advantage. With Germans you can always adopt to whatever your opponent is doing and you have everything you need to win the game in your basic buildings. You don't even have to choose your doctrine to be able to win. German's buildings are also more balanced with both AT and AI option for every tier. You won't get that with Soviets. What's more you're quite often forced to follow specific BO also your tech is more obvious for your opponent when you play as Soviet. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Blitzkrieg tactics balance issue12 Oct 2013, 17:19 PM My point about AT nades being not 100% effective is as valid as your point about Blitz being Vet ability and therefore something special thous should be treated differently. Right now when you use blitz there is no risk within the ability itself. You can use it and gain insane advantage without any penalty. With engine crits disabling blitz you will have element of risk. You will have to balance your chances and decide wherever you want to use it or not. It would stop Panthers from retreating after overextending. It wouldn't work as a "oh sheep" button as it works right now. Sorry but 50% speed is such a minor difference that it would not make any difference especially when combined with smoke. The tank would be slower but still pretty much free to go wherever it wants. BTW why don't you take a chill pill and relax? You can keep the "f" word to yourself if you don't know how to have a civil conversation. In: COH2 Balance
