Whilst we wait, here's a story about the wonders of the Sherman's tracks, somehow in the fighting IIRC around Budapest an entire tank corps was moving up when its advance was completely halted without a shot being fired.
After some grumpy calls from the Kremlin it was found that (somehow) all the rubber in the Sherman's tracks had melted, rendering them inoperable. The problem was given to the US technicians who kept an eye on things and a solution was rapidly found and replacements put in but interesting story none the less...
