Having a tank that rapes every other enemy tank and that it's virtually invulnerable to infantry is a pain to deal with. Having to rely exclusively in ATguns and arty to destroy it. And with schrecks and the superior ATguns and HMGs that Ostheer have is much easier to support and defend an Elefant than an ISU. At least schrecks do a good damage to ISU-152, IS2 and such. The most that allies can expect of their infantry against elefant is buttoning it or throwing ATnades that most probably will do nothing. You may can't destroy it, but you can make it useless: building infantry, AT-Guns and Arty. So basically you gave the solution to youself already. Elefant is indeed strong against tanks - but only against tanks. If you just find a good alternative its useless. All that manpower and fuel wasted because its just facing infantry. In 10 min an Elefant makes like 2 inf kills (a single man, not a squad). And thats the high art of outplaying the enemy. It was never the goal to destroy the Elefant, your goal is to win the game. He may have a big tank, but what is he going to do if has no infantry because you started to counter it instead of the Elefant? In: Lobby

JT counters it pretty easily and to some extent so does the Ele. Hans killed 2 the other day with a Puma. Yes, he managed to kill an unsupported one (I have seen the game too, Barton only had 1 pio next to it) in 1 vs 1 on a wide map perfect for flanking while Barton was failing at micro with it. Thread: Who else loves the ISU these days? :D5 Aug 2014, 19:44 PM I've seen it again in Siberians stream yesterday. First Vonivan and Sib were losing and were totally pushed off the map. But at min 30 a wild ISU appeared and wiped like 3 Volks and 2 Obersoldaten and they were in under 1 min on the map again. In the end they even won with 2 second ISU which was even for Jagdtiger too much. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's just the same as Minsk. 3 long tunnels for extra nice camping experience and most time only 2 ways to flank the enemy. Thread: Semois Summer and Stalingrad 5 Aug 2014, 17:46 PM Stalingrad and Minsk: remove! I'm not sure about Semois. If the USF have better arty (visit another thread for this) I think the map is good. Arty if for USF the key on this map because there is just one way on the map. The OKW has probaly all of its units standing very near to each other. Imagine what a pack howi or a priest (if buffed) would do! I like semois itself because of intense fights. Anyone who didn't liked Semois in COH1 probaly loved Schelde. In: COH2 Gameplay
