What I want: An army that reinforces the combined arms formula of Company of Heroes. Flanking, suppression, tactical elements etc
What I expect:
TRUCKS.
STUFF THAT LOOKS COOL BUT IS BROKEN BEYOND REPAIR.
BLOBS.
NON-DOCTRINAL EMPLACEMENTS.
MOAR TRUCKS.
I sincerely hope new factions aren't coming though. IF they somehow manage to fix the balance in the next balance patch (it would be miraculous), it'd be broken again a few months later, for another year. |

I'll reiterate what everyone else said: Try to build it yourself. It's cheaper + you have more control of what you add. Not to mention the feeling of awesomeness that comes along with building your own PC.

He proved to be quite immune to explanations in pretty much every single other thread anyone attempted to do it.
No wonder people don't want to waste time and forum space.
That being said, his changes fix absolutely nothing and create even more imbalance with even more powerful OKW locking down armor even faster.

Absolutely nothing to adress shreckblob and ubers? He completely ignored the sources of OKW imbalances, took the rest of the army and made sure every single unit is completely imbalanced and overpowered, his proposal to AA HT alone makes his post scream "I have no slightest idea what OKW units ares intended to do, but I'm ignore it and randomly buff them anyway even thou they perform excellent already".

I've been playing some 2 v 2 as allies which confirms my suspicion that OKW is E-Z mode. Blobs. Blobs. Blobs. Blobs with shreks and Obers and 'nades.
Then the KT and game over.
OKW is killing this game for me, to be honest.
OKW is a game killer, indeed. It needs nerfs, especially Obers, Volks veterancy. Also, the retarded T3 Flak Gun needs a big toning down. |

IMO most people here complain because they didn't even try mortars, PaKs or Penals because everything soviet players atm do in terms of playstyle is 5-6 conscripts to IS2/T34.
I haven't seen a single T1/T2 unit in my last 10 games against the Russians.
If playing T1 you have penals and snipers which are very strong against OKW. In addition with a 120mm mortar which is also incredibly strong against OKW you can do a smoke barrage -> 2 demo charges with your penals and the OKW has lost the game.
Can 2 satchels destroy it? I don't have experience with satchell-ing it but I recall using 2 against the Med Truck and it didn't fully die, needed some AT Gun shots to finish it off. |
Why do Obers get the best LMG in the game for free?
Why does the Puma have an instant get-out-of-jail-free card at 0 Vet?
Why does the cheapest mainline infantry that also scales the best with Vet also have Schrecks?
Etc..
These design decisions were taken by Relic's design team at a time when they were probably under the influence of some nasty stuff. |
