GG, WP, Enjoyable back and forth game, with swings both ways until the very end. Really small margins between victory and defeat!
Grats to the Osteer player who used true sight very well, his doctrine, set ambushes, tellers and threw a variety of units into the mix!
Imo you have some good plays from both sides and some tactical/strategic mistakes from both sides plus some proper RNG moments which makes it an entertaining game! |
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you COH2 in a nutshell
I trolled him hard, he then Teebags me even harder in the face. Who wins in this battle of trolls and OP?
Worth a watch for the laughs and it was a pretty competitive game all things considered!
GG, WP! |
Wp, still learning this strat :-) |
I would not condone singling out individual members of the Relic team and abusing them. They are staff.
However, whatever else about the game/design, the current DLC model is a cluster F', a very poor business modal and complete BS that is not good for the customer (by design), so I can understand why people are pissed after spending their cash. As a company, Relic deserves all the criticism they get for that. Edit: And unfortunately, that anger in any business can often be expressed at the staff who are on the front line and interact with the customers. |
+1 to Vindicares post. It can be situational (better for some maps then others), many players don't expect it and if positioned right it forces your opponent to respond, e.g. behind the hedgerow on Langre.
Improved targeting and making it a non com unit would be great, but I doubt we'll see that soon. |
As a new player to the franchise, guess i'd have to learn some VCOH as I still like Relic games.
If Dow2 was still alive...*sigh*. COH2 just not the bee's knee's (yet). |
Best throwing a email at these lads: https://help.sega.com/home

I'm looking forward to this one, I think it's gonna be a tough fight. Last week's SNF viewer turnout was less than impressive, I hope we can reverse the trend this weekend. Thx Spezzy & the Players for the awesome fightcard, and special thx to computerheat who has been drafting up the hyperbole for each week's event.
Pls guys, give us a post in this thread if you like SNF and/or these announcements. Tons of work goes into these and it's nice to hear that it's noticed. So how about a +1, a clap, a prediction, a criticism... we'll take anything! HIT ME!
I personally think COH2.org and the SNF team are doing a standout job supporting COH2! I enjoy taking part in the tournaments which are really well organised, and apart from Twitch lag issues which I understand the team can't control, I enjoy tuning in during broadcasts or catching up during the working week with the vods.
At the moment, however i'm somewhat disenchanted with the Relic/Sega teams support/plan for COH2 and as a result, i'm simply playing and watching less COH2. Unfortunately there is only so much the community can do (reference DOW2, another Relic game).
TLDR: COH2.org= great, COH2 in its current form=Not so great. |
Wiped the floor with me, gg, wp and gl with rest of tourny. Caught me cold with his Soviet strat.
Next time, i'll be a bit wiser to it |
As a little aside, whilst I understand and in some parts agree with people who are angry at Relic/Sega, imo the DLC strategy currently employed is a cluster F' and not sustainable long term (hopefully).., insulting individual members of the Relic/Sega team who aren't responsible for it, such as Noun, who is called out in the Youtube video above, is not productive, it is his job frankly and you can hardly expect him to crap on his own doorstep. Whether he truly believes in some of the stuff he says, who knows, but if he posted that the current strategy of his employers is BS and poor for the customer publicly, he'd end up unemployed quick-time and would find it very hard to get a similar job in the games industry ever again.
Same for the balance team, I don't agree with everything they do (such as the balancing of the Dlc commanders), but we don't fully know what the story is in there and ultimately, Relic as a company is responsible. Sometimes you see people calling for them to be fired, which is nuts and a knee jerk response. |
