The crazy thing is he was winning the battles but you still had map control when you quit. I don't think they get one-shotted by the sturmtiger. Soviet T3/4 is pretty weak-sauce anyway so you might as well abuse the call-in system and get some more tanks that are actually worth it. My T34-85s got one shotted as well actually. The fact that I lost them was totally my fault there, but I'm not sure if it's the best way to go. I really needed something like SUs. But I already teched to T3, so it was way too expensive to go T4 at that point. Also, had I waited for T34-85s, I wouldn't have had a decent counter against the Obersoldaten and Fallschirmjagers. There was no way to get more because their absurd infantry raped mine, and my T34s couldn't be too aggressive because of schreks/puma/raketenwerfer. The first shot of the Sturm killed my T34, so by the time I could react I had only one tank. So massing tanks wasn't really an option. I could've went IS2 of course, but I figured I needed guards, and didn't (and couldn't) anticipate a Sturm Tiger. In: Replays
