Thread: War Spoils Drop Rate and Rare Commanders26 Jun 2014, 17:21 PM Seriously lost as to why Relic have such a hard on for RNG - even the drops are "luck" based. They had it right with the Opel commander - you rank up to lv 45 - you get this commander. The drop system is great - IF ITS AESTHETIC ONLY - like CS:GO - that flame coloured M4 looks great but doesn't make it any easier to get a head shot. If they want to encourage play to get commanders - link it to level progression. They just can't seem to get anything right. In: Lobby
Thread: CELO - Company of ELO24 Jun 2014, 19:53 PM I noticed the new attempt at old public games from vCoh - still see Relic maintaining the Nanny state approach to hiding poor players stats etc. Is there anyway you can integrate the CELO to show ranks of players waiting in a Lobby while browsing lobbies or entering the lobby? I think that would be awesome - saves having to pull player profiles etc. In: Modding and Tools

Explosions are big and dangerous, you know. The wimpy explosions of vCoH bored the hell out of me. The problem with RNG is that when you fall foul of it - it doesn't feel like you were outplayed - it just basically pisses you off. When you're outplayed - then you can appreciate that skill and say "well played" and really know it was the better player and better tactic that won. If you want chance - take a spin on the Roulette table at the Wynn - I don't think chance/luck should have the amount of importance that COH2 has given it. And note the caliber of these games - they're top line names. Releasing this expansion in the middle of this sale - wow - brilliant idea. In: COH2 Gameplay

Looks like Relic still in love with the retarded 4 man squad. Seriously - let that idea die and get back to a dynamic that worked - especially when you combine the RNG elements of this game with a more often than not approach to a magic unit one shotting entire squads.
