What did you think the Germans invaded for? To save the soviet people from the clutches of the Stalinist?
Actually they did that in the beginning and people were very happy about it. However one regime was replaced by another one and vice versa after the war.
Main reason for invasion was to remove the only possible ally left, to force england into a peace treaty.
If the nazis won, all Soviets would have been killed, deported, or sent to work/death camps.

I fail to see how and invader with the goal of racial genocide is the "lesser than two evils",but fine. You do have a point, but is are (the western) view on soviet history any better? We tend to look down on them for things they done, we don't have a clean track record either. This game was just better off leaving the war crimes out. It is a video game after all.

After finishing watching the video i have to agree in one thing: Adding atrocities of WW2 into the game, which is called "Company of heroes", wasnt a good idea. Thats what Coh1 avoided to do. |
you are right, but still, the americans didnt do any major wracrimes in europe. i mean, hiroshiam and nagasaki were BIG warcrimes, but those are pacific.

Generosity would be a good start to gain sympathy (because its the opposite of demanding) or taking responsibility. I dont read much of that in this thread, more alot of hatred. |
I guess that's too much for them Relics to handle. We'd be glad for them doing the things mentioned above.
They've said they receive death threats. Yet they don't cooperate with the community. What the hell? If they wait for too long the petition organizers won't be able to calm down people.
This can get real ugly real soon.
