Stormjäger No thanks, after the rifles buff there is no excuse for not buffing conscripts in case of a penals nerf, unless the maxim buff makes it into an mg42. Then they need the merge go away. What is holding cons back in combat is their ability to merge and save other squads on the field. As absurd as it sounds it can be one of the best abilities in the game. In: COH2 Balance

Stormjäger Only way a penal nerf is acceptable is if it’s accompanied by a significant conscript buff. Actually it can be accomplished by buffing maxim but adjusting its set/pack times like other mgs. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Grens UP & G43s suck3 Oct 2019, 14:39 PM As I said earlier (dunno is it this thread or the other gren thread) : Grens are far from UP. Grens and Cons are the pinnacles of the core infantry design. It is not Grens or Cons that need buffs it is all other mainlines that deserve nerfs. But for the G43 part I strongly agree. Current G43 only promotes blobbing and A-moving compared to SOV SVT upgrade which is a direct DPS upgrade which is both earlier and overall better. Suggestions can be like this: 1 : > Keep them 2 CP > Remove moving accuracy > Gives two G43s which have the exact stats of Pathfinder snipers which crit at %40-50 > Cost to 70 Munitions 2 : > Lower cost to 1 CP > Remove moving accuracy > Gives 2 G43s which which will have 3 Paratrooper M1's DPS. Which will be a true DPS upgrade on all ranges without being too overwhelming. > Cost to 50 or 60 Munitions What do you guys think ? In: COH2 Balance

These weapons will drop their models quickly because dps gets concentrated on single models, while you will drop models more slowly (especially behind cover) because their weapons will do spread damage against your large squad size. Furthermore, you get most of your dps from one or two LMG's, while their dps drops significantly with each model that dies. That explains why Falls sucked before the patch. I often wondered why my Falls were dealing absurd amounts of damage but enemy squad was full models with a tiny hp many times. In: COH2 Gameplay

It only encourages the blobby playstyle which is unfun for both user and the recieving end of the blob. I would suggest making them into 70-75 muni 4 G43s and giving the 4 man gren squad the exact total para (6man m1 carbines) dps WITH DAMAGE DROP OFF ONT THE MOVE. It wouldn't be that oppressive since the damage drop off will be much marginal on a 4 man squad that costs 30mp to reinforce. In: COH2 Balance

My 0.02£ is that the Soviet faction needs an overhaul. Currently it’s basically pre-Puma nerf Ostheer, a bunch of underpowered units such as the Conscripts, Maxims, SU76s. Actually I think they are batshit OP. I have found great succes with them in 2v2 3v3 4v4. Dunno maybe just me with the Airborne SVT into fast SU-76 In: COH2 Balance
