No it will not destroy the building, that Arty does not consistently hit the mark. The further away the building is from base aswell and your chance of hitting the building drop. We're talking about reliable methods.

u can destroy key buildings with your tommie squad when u give them the arty upgrade just mark the house and it will be destroyed, but this is only a soft counter. |

All UKF vehicle skills like, suppression fire(uc), chain breaker, smoke shell, grenade...
are almost impossible to trigger in a normal game, because the vehicle´s needs to be absolute standing still.
Examples:
UC; If i don´t want to get hit by a Panzerfaust i need to move constantly backward while fighting, ---> I´am unable to kick in the suppressions rounds.
AEC; I never could used the chain breaker ability from the AEC, i guess for this skill both enemy vehicle and the AEC needs to stand still which is pretty rare.
Cromwell, Comet; if i choose to fire a smoke shell out of range the tank starts to move to get in range but never shoot the smoke shell, they same thing happen with the Comet grenade, while the Churchill grenade works fine.
These things need a bit love to get useful. |
Generally the reason they don't allow some strikes in the base is so players can't just use them to destroy base buildings. So the more damage heavy ones aren't allowed.
Railgun strike is not heavy?

Since the brits update i have made the experience that when i order a unit to garrison a building, that they often stay just beside the door or on the other side off the building at the wall, instead of going in the house, this is damn annoying. |

Why is it still possible to throw some off map arty abilities, like the railgun, while all others "not allowed" on the base sector. Either ban all abilities on base sectors or allow them all. |
