Thread: Eastern Front Armies Revamp 9 Jun 2017, 09:08 AM Jump back to quoted post9 Jun 2017, 08:27 AMIA3 - HH pls make assault grenadiers useful Assault grenadiers got buffed last patch - they are very viable now In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Eastern Front Armies Revamp 8 Jun 2017, 23:35 PM Mr Smith/Miragelfla - does the system give you stats from games played with the mod or do you just have to rely on replays / feedback? In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Does salvaging free skins remove your permanent skins?7 Jun 2017, 23:24 PM I don't think anyone really knows In: Lobby
Thread: Free Skins or just Relic again?7 Jun 2017, 12:17 PM Jump back to quoted post7 Jun 2017, 10:14 AMscratchedpaintjob i strongly guess you won't lose anything, because the remaining skins have no timer. Also if you had a particular skin in your loadout while scrapping, it stays there, which furthermore speaks for the fact that you scrap the timed duplicate There is some logic here, at least with the second point In: Lobby
Thread: Free Skins or just Relic again?7 Jun 2017, 12:14 PM Exactly the question is which 'duplicates' the system has salvaged. The free ones we have been temporarily given ownership of, duplicating things we own(ed) OR the ones we own(ed) which were considered duplicates because our account appeared to have 2 copies temporarily. I suspect the latter and there is going to be big fallout if so. Either we have just got a bunch of free supply or we have lost a bunch of stuff we bought/grinded. The salvage value is far lower than the invested value In: Lobby
Thread: Free Skins or just Relic again?7 Jun 2017, 09:57 AM I did this too by mistake. I expect when the promotion ends in 3 days I will discover that I have lost all my usf and okw skins and commanders. This is a major screw up In: Lobby
Thread: Eastern Front Armies Revamp 6 Jun 2017, 23:15 PM I been playing the mod a little biut today unfortunately vs a near beginner it turned out so can't really comment on the balance but a number of units like cons and the ostwind and the maxim "felt" a little more solid. I liked it In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Eastern Front Armies Revamp 27 May 2017, 15:28 PM Jump back to quoted post27 May 2017, 15:25 PMMr.Smith That's Penal's niche. If Penals had no niche people would never build them; they would build Conscripts instead. Don't build caches too early (you can't anyway), and you will be OK. Late-game harassment should be encouraged; not discouraged. Hmm this is a far too late and therefore pointless thought but the satchel mechanic would be cooler if each time its used one of the penals had to carry the satchel and split himself from the squad dying in the process. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Eastern Front Armies Revamp 27 May 2017, 15:17 PM Jump back to quoted post27 May 2017, 15:13 PMMr.Smith I think that the expensive-cache idea will lead to more aggressive/play harassment to shut down people that are trying to hoard resources too early. Please note my concern about Penals being able to punish cache building much easier than other factions - later in games commandos with their demos will provide a quick hit and run on these expensive caches. The concept is good though - much more decision making about where/when to build caches in team games with a distinct penalty to your fighting ability when doing so early and haevier blow when they are destroyed In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Eastern Front Armies Revamp 27 May 2017, 10:04 AM While I like the expensive cache idea one issue I can see is the ability of penals to satchel them so easily. Obviously the penals have to reach the cache but once they do they can insta destroy - there is no time to push them back whilst other factions will have to chip away at them. Killing 500mp so easily is a problem if other factions can't do the same In: COH2 Gameplay
