Thread: GG, not.1 Nov 2013, 17:37 PM I say "gg" at the end of every game I play. If the game is obviously going to end with me winning (eg 6 VPs left and I have all the victory points) I'll say "gg" as a sort of "thanks for the game". Because COH2 has post-game chat I feel that players should surrender immediately if they "gg" and not remain in-game to chat. That way the other player can talk afterwards if he wants, or he can go straight back for another game. Also, it doesn't cost you anything to be civil. In: Lobby

If, for example, a Grenadier squad is down to three men, does each remaining man get more health restored than he would if the squad were a full four? Also, do squads that are using the medkit ability stop fighting or take extra damage while bandaging their comrades? What about the squad being healed? If you activate the medkits and then move the squads away from each other, does that cancel the ability/end it prematurely? Got any other medkit tips? Thread: Dear Relic: please include chat in replays30 Oct 2013, 14:54 PM I really liked that the chat was visible in replays in COH1 and have been disappointed by its absence in COH2. I have a couple of reasons why I would like to see chat visible in replays: 1) It gives replays more personality. Even just seeing two players say "gl hf" at the start of a match adds a lot for me. The lack of player banter makes replays feel sterile to me. 2) I have seen cases where it was unclear which player won and which lost at the end of a game because the "gg" was not visible in the replay. 3) It could cut down on the amount of verbal abuse that players toss around in-game. There are a lot of players who verbally abuse other players or constantly whine throughout games. If players knew that their obnoxious behavior was going to be preserved and that they would develop bad reputations, they might be less inclined to act like brats.
