In one case we are talking about 2 stock units in the other about a doctrinal unit and faction trademark ability. You said “if the role is mainline infantry, then give them sandbags”. Penals were the mainline infantry alternative to conscripts for a while and didn’t have sandbags. Even if they were stock units, that doesn’t mean anything. KT is a stock heavy tank but it still adheres to the 1 heavy tank limit. Being stock or not doesn’t matter much, it’s about how you balance things and giving Fussies sandbags and scavenge would be too powerful. I appreciate the balance team trying to make fussies/volks a choice and not a no brainer. In: COH2 Balance

In terms of game balance, do you want a pen and how often do you want it? IMO the most elegant solution would be a range nerf to all TDs, a RoF buff, an accuracy nerf and a penetration buff. That would make them better vs heavies, less of a total shut down of medium armour, and would prevent the sniping from far away which is so annoying and unhistorical. In: COH2 Balance
