Approx 2min replay on Crossing.
So you all know the drill. You start playing vs an Ostheer player, he starts the game with a Gren, MG then Assgren and is at your cutoff trying to basepin you. Extremely annoying strategy, especially on maps like Crossing in the woods. I've struggled a lot with this in the past and I've learned to scout ahead in the early game and a few important tips I wanted to share with people who might struggle vs this strat.
1) Always send a unit middle to scout for a rush. Identifying 2-3 rushing squads in the middle as the game starts can save you as you redirect everything to meet them.
2) Always flank. Base pinners will boom rush the cutoff and do 0 flank scouting and usually just stare at your base so you can probably get a wipe from them not looking.
3) Wire any green cover near your base.
