i'm not sure what you mean by the size though, are you referring to the circle (which i think is about right) or the point itself (which is i think is fine but causes some issues when place in really tight spots (like the top points of pocket)?
The point itself, so the flag and the wooden substructure, maybe replace it with just a flag, it wouldn't take so much space. |
First of all sorry for creating another topic with a poll.
1) But it bothers me since the release of Coh2. Why do caputed points provide vision? On some maps they are placed in such spots that you have to get near them beacause of pathing or thier placement. So if you go for flank your opponent will see you coming.
2) Tho this is only a problem for vehicle inf he another problem the instant warning on the minimap if points get decaped this makes infantry sneak attacks deep into enemy territory nearly impossible, since your opponent gets the info if your inf sqauds are just passing the capture circle. The warning could come when the point is like 50% decapped but not instantly.
3) As for VP's, why is thier substructure so big? For an indestructible map object it has really large hitbox. Thier localization+size on some maps causes massive pathing issues.

Iirc during beta all heavy tanks like IS2, Tiger, Elefant had 1600 HP. But the problem was that with the std gmd being 160 they simply could tank too much dmg and gain vet overtime. Thats why we got a max HP for vehicle of 1280 only WFA changed it again.
The nerf to 1400 won't change much because now its 9 instead of 10 pen shoots to destroy it.
Would have been better if the AVRE would have been a Brummbar with a turret then a Sturmtiger with a turret. |
The Brummbärs dps is insane with 1000 pen and 70 range gun, I suggest it gets at least the sturmtiger feature with manual reload + decrewing.
Why should Relic nerf it? The game is supposed to be based to some degree on RL, the Churchill AVRE was fireing a 18 kg round, while the Brummbar a 38 kg shell.
Of course the Brummbar should have a more powerful gun. And its current stats ingame represent this well. |
Relic for some reason represents the the bundle nade as if worked like and was the normal std grenade (has similar stats to the soviet RGD 33) for the german forces when IRL was more similar to a satchel charge.

I probably should have underlined ASSAULT autmatic weaponry, you know, StG44 that didn't existed at any point during Africa theater.
We all know they used LMGs until they puked, then used them some more.
MP40's were as good as Sten guns IRL, and as for now Commandos are the highest dps unit in game so Relic can give MP40's similar stats, not to mention that if its a Italian/German faction there are also a lot of Italian made weapons to choose from. |
