Yeah was thinking about that one, but not sure how to do it.
-- I cloned the minesweeper toggle ability for Oberkommando west, but my brain just started melting.
So how do i do it?
- Clone both the minesweeper abilities (on/off)
- Change their name to ability_menu2 and ability_menu2off
- Set requirement for all existing abilities which should be in "regular menu"
to require player upgrade? ability_menu2off
- Set requirement for all new abilities which will be in menu 2 to
to require player upgrade? ability_menu2
Is this the way? I just really lost my head when testing this out earlier.
I think you're looking for the categorie 'ai_settings'.
Default_skirmish_hard, harderst etc. are used in custom games.
It contains ai_settings_bag/skirmish_settings/army. You could tweak these settings and see how the AI respons.
Increasing 'min_num_capturing_units' should let them build more infantry.
Increasing 'min_non_support_units_to_support_units_ratio' should let them build less tanks and team_weapons.

the problem is that only some vehicles support hull down. So for UKF you can't just clone the standard animation but you would need to make your own "animation".

Thanks for the reply RagnarTheGamer, ok so it is not possible to have the "Hull Down" ability for the British.
But the issue applies also to AEF vehicles, my echelon troops are not able to create hull down on shermans.
