Thread: Removing Icons When Using Fraps4 Feb 2013, 18:18 PM you can open the console no matter of -dev mode or not. Some commands, like the ones above, only work in dev mode though. the console command may depend on the keyboard language. You can find the specific keybinding by opening the RelicCOH.ini in the COH installation folder, using a text editor. The line should read: Code Console consoleKey = CONTROL+SHIFT+GRAVE You may edit the keybinding to whatever you want though, like Code Console consoleKey = CONTROL+SHIFT+s if you have problems with Grave (~). To start the game in -dev mode you have to apply a starting option to the COH shortcut by rightclicking on the shortcut, opening the properties tab and add " -dev" at the end, so that it reads similar to: Code "D:\Games\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev In: COH Central

You need to run the game in " -dev" mode and open the console (hit ctrl+shift+~) while watching a replay. Then use the following commands - message_hide: hides things like "Playback" and "Paused" - message_show - game_hideui: hides alot of stuff, such as squad selection and icons - game_showui - cursor_hide: hides the cursor - cursor_show - UI_TerritoryHide: hides the territory lines - UI_TerritoryShow ..... sometimes -dev mode leads to problems with replays that have beem recorded in regular mode though. Some action may trigger unsynchs, where the game shown is no longer the same as the one that was played. In: COH Central

Sega has bought Relic just last week. Give them a chance to get in touch with each other first. Even then it's probably more about coordinating the development process, release, etc. I can also imagine that its taking even a bit longer for the Beta things to be sorted out, because a 3rd party is involved (Steam). Basicly, an internal infrastructure has to be build up. All this doesnt just take a few days. I suggest people start to get reasonable again, give them a break and just wait. You may run COH without windowmode then. I haven't tried that myself, but heard from people that gamecapture is better than screen capture. Xsplit may have such an option, too, which you may try. Thread: Streaming with a capture card27 Jan 2013, 10:25 AM Alright, i highly suggest you stay tuned for the streaming guide by Inverse, which will be published soon, before you spend money on stuff you don't need with 60 up 6 down, you mean MBit? or 60kb/s up and 6 Mb/s down? when editing the settings of your twitch.tv channel, there is a dropdown for location, which shows you a list of servers. you should pick the one with the lowest ping. there is also a server in amsterdam, so i guess thats the best one indeed. For your streaming bitrate, you should test your net speed with one of the speedcheck tools available on the internet (use google). Then choose a bitrate at least 200 kbit less than your maximum speed, and the buffer twice the size. But like i said, i recommand using open broadcast software, if you want to stream in 1080p, because it is for free and less resource hungry. On xsplilt you have to purchase a license to stream in 1080p at some point. In: COH Central
