What swordfisch claimed was that they did not get the accuracy/CD bonus anymore which they do. And actually my original point was that having access to 2 auras (Air-landing officer/Command vehicle) would make unit broken and it would. No.... I claimed it was nerfed, which it was you claimed they get -80% RA in an aura, which is wrong. I said they get a decent RA and accuracy buff for around 10-15 seconds with heroric charge, hardly gamebreaking when we have a command P4 giving units the extra health to survive direct grenades at their feet. Thread: Big Annoucement from Relic3 Jul 2018, 23:20 PM Changes will be nerfs to the Crocodile and Comet being limited to one (also with a scatter nerf and fuel put up to 230). Also bren gun being limited to one per squad. This should diversify the UKF meta and bring them in line with other factions In: Lobby

I think if it is swapped with some minor changes it could be what brits need (remove buff and reduce cooldown, so basically orah! without extra damage but tied to one unit), I doubt relic will ever rework the mortar pit or make a new mortar unit. Even USF mortar was copied from AA campaign, the best we can hope for is current units being swapped from doctrines or changed. In: COH2 Balance

If that is true and the only change they have made in years then why is my grenade sharing a cooldown? The old numbers were a lot higher than just 20% less RA, they were straight up terminators for 10 seconds on release. I can boot up the game and record it right now if you really want, but the ability has been nerfed considerably so I'm not sure why you're making a fuss of a unit hardly used. In: COH2 Balance

You're wrong and qouting years old stats it seems Again I don't see the issue with ALO being non-doc, IS could use a USF style officer to help with flanks and Ostheer MG play. It seems any attempt to buff brits and people post falsehoods and OP stats from years ago to justify them lacking any tools current factions have In: COH2 Balance

Aura? Pretty sure the only aura ALO gives is a sprint and a decent RA buff for 10 seconds or so when you use the heroic charge ability. I don't see why this would be an issue. . It used to be pretty strong on release but it was nerfed a good year or two ago iirc. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Should UKF get one or more of their doctrinal tools non-doc?30 Jun 2018, 13:15 PM I don't feel adding flamers non-doc is the answer, but personally I think adding AT tommies or/and air landing officer would help the function of the faction a lot. They are just so slow and mediocre at present. The lack of snare hurts your mobility the most I feel, once your AT gun cover is gone attacks break down so you have to play a lot more defensively (and boring compared to say Ost). Air landing officer would be a purchasable officer in T2, possibly 400mp to dump any MP float on to have a unit to help with flanks. AT tommies could be purchasable for 340mp upon tech up. (having an option to pick between these two units might be interesting). Non-doc AT boys would be a indirect buff to UKF building clearance where you can actually support your WASP in mobile attacks before it gets deleted by a 222. Am I talking rubbish? I would like to see him become a non-doc officer for purchase in T3 personally, it would give UKF some mobility for flanks rather being pigeonholed into a doctrine. Also some much needed flavour having an elite unit like Obers but with a trade off that can only be built once once. Then there's the issue parts of the doctrine he is in has been nerfed to pudding, croc is expensive junk compared to a pershing or tiger. Americans or Sov can stall to IS-2 or persh vs mobile defence but stalling for a Croc is just a joke, it's so mediocre now. In: COH2 Balance

Right the stats that are inferior to LMG paras and LMG obers, you admit it yourself the vet 0 levels are "similar" with obers having an edge. Now Compare ober vet 2 dps vs vet 3 double bren commando DPS and get back to me bud because there is no contest here, in your avaerage game obers are better despite being cheaper and non-doc. I mention vet grens because they do trade better, you're looking at a 240mp 60 muni investment that can bleed your 390 90muni commando squad (35 reinforce which adds up for 5 men with three useless stens) vs your 30mp reinforce grens. They might lose 1vs1 but CoH2 is not a vaccuum for your theory crafting that LMG commandos builds are so good (despite noone upgrading them or barely playing brits at all lol) In: COH2 Balance

If bren commandos were really traded so well then we would see them upgraded every game vs Ost. But when you are facing a-move vet LMG grens just no... Grens trade better because they are cheaper and still pack just as much as a punch at range (mostly talking vet 3 here). Rifle nades are also a godsend. You have to give reasons why you think someone is wrong ya know In: COH2 Balance
