Thread: Fighting ISU as OKW5 Jan 2018, 08:58 AM Jagdtiger is the go- to solution. Fight fire with better fire. However, frequently using smoke to deny LOS to the ISU is also a decent(and nondoctrinal) solution, forcing the ISU to either cease firing for a while or move out of the smoke, closer to your AT weapons. It's like a delayed, half blind sniper. Each shell can kill off max one model, and only if it lands directly onto it. Crap damage against garrisons too. The incendiary barrage is basically the only thing worthwhile about it now, so get ready for Feuersturm spam... The Leig got a buff in the form of smoke shells, allowing Volks to close in and chuck an incindiary grenade. Like Would they be too strong if they could retreat? I certainly don't think so. It seems like they just wanted to make them different for the hell of it. First of all, you are not using your Pack howitzer/Leig properly if you let it get attacked by... anything. It would become more of a ''get out of jail free card'' much like the raketen, which would render flanking this weapon pointless to attempt. Second of all, you're asking for the wrong changes. Everyone knows that the leig is kind of mediocre when it comes to AOE, so why not ask for something better there? How many times would you benefit from a better AOE, and how many times would you benefit from retreating when outflanked? In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Possible Valentine changes31 Dec 2017, 21:24 PM Sounds like good suggestions for changes overall. I don't buy valentines that often, but when i do i just find it to be a worse T70 at times. It's recon ability is great for... recon..., but everything else is just meh about it when i can get an AEC with better firepower, mobility, and ease of access(not being limited to 1 doctrine). The concentration barage certainly needs to be combined with the base howitzers, that's for certain. However, then i would argue that the ability should cost some munitions, depending on how many artillery pieces you have(20 or so per gun). In: COH2 Balance
