Thread: [Relic][Dev Diary] CoH-Development26 Sep 2021, 20:12 PM I'd rather afk 20 minutes in matchmaking queue than go through the frustration of the matchmaking and wasting even more hours playing unbalanced and unfun matches because I get matched vs too good enemies or with a bad teammate or bad enemies Let the player choose if they want a quick match or a balanced one by having to tick a box for it. The current matchmaking is screwing over too many people and sadly relic doesnt seem to care about this. I'm sure that 90% of community want balanced matches instead of quick low quality matches. Thread: I don't trust the official balance team.6 Sep 2021, 10:45 AM It is well known that the balance team is mainly axis players and has bias towards it. Sometimes they play soviets and we can see that in their actions - it is not getting overnerfed like ukf or usf. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: USF and MP bleed11 Aug 2021, 23:29 PM I think most of the problem lies in weak USF tech. If you don't tech captain you don't get any anti tank gun. Zooks cost muni and bleed way too much manpower and renders the squad useless versus infrantry. Why doesn't USF get anti tank gun independent of the tech choice like all other factions in the game? Thread: Getting Ongoing Games28 Jul 2021, 13:23 PM Is there any way to get the ongoing games from the spectate tab? I'm trying to make a service that would display the ongoing games. I just want the metadata about the match, who is playing and what factions. Has anyone achieved anything like that? Maybe there is an API I could use? Things I have tried: Capture the traffic in WireShark when I click the spectate tab in CoH2, I see the packets, but they are using TLS 1.2 and is encrypted and I couldn't find a way to decrypt it. Thread: Commander Update Beta 2021 - USF Feedback6 Apr 2021, 23:02 PM I'm top 50 2v2 player with USF currently and top30 soviets and I agree, there is no way for USF to counter axis infrantry in the late game unless you pick Calliope doctrine and it is funny to see it getting nerfed, while axis have stock rocket units to wipe allied infrantry. The nerfs to pack howie and scotts made the situation way worse. I am sure the purpose of these units WERE to provide an alternative to missing stock rocket arty, but the wipe potential have been nerfed too hard, while axis gets to keep their stock rocket arty unit wipe potential and annihilating squads with their alpha strikes. The rifle nade nerfs made me question that if any from the balance team is even playing USF? I think I will quit playing USF after this patch hits live because it is way too big struggle lategame and just play soviets and ostheer since you have all the tools available in these factions by stock. If anything, the jackson is the only single stock unit from everything you can build as USF that is keeping USF alive in lategame, but if you lose them, it is over, but jackson has been receiving nerfs in the previous patches too. So you still get double the durability (and immunity to small arms) for a measly 10 extra fuel. Yes, measly 10 fuel and it also takes a doctrine pick. The rifle nade nerf, I don't know where it is coming from that it was too strong, it was good in certain situations, but not strong and now the upgrade will be useless now unless the nade damage gets buffed a bit. It is useful only when you know 100% that the opponent is using tacmap most of his playtime otherwise in 99% of cases it is just waste of munitions I think it is not a issue and there are bigger priorities that are more important to spend your balancing energy on like figuring out a way to make UKF not a useless faction in 1v1s...
