Thread: 1v1 SOVIET v WEHR19 Jul 2016, 08:36 AM 0 VS Claera Razputin 1v1 SOVIET v WEHR by: Razputin map: Kholodny Ferma Winter 1 - OK, i finally decided to play as SOVIETS in 1v1 becouse BRITS are too hard or i just miss the better commanders. The went well but always when i am good i just fear what enemy is saving resources for. Yeah Tiger. He just dug up behind mid and waited and waited and i felt i just cant let Wehrmacht go to late game. Maybe I should just capture side VPs and dig myself too, but he had 2 mortars non-stop denying any kind of advance covered by MGs and Paks. I think the first T-34 was not good, Katuysha would be better but i was expecting him to start doing something but he just waited. I am not using Hotkeys yet, but i cant find any way how to force myself to start using them. When I tried it vs AI I almost lost becouse i had to think about which key and i was not paying attention to the game itself. Maybe i should just try to drop my ELO becouse when i was doing my first 10 matches as SOVIETS i crushed every opponent by spamming Cons and with most of the map build just T3 and T4 and rush T-34s to Destroy his base. Easy-peasy. I lost only like 1 match. Then it placed me to rank 7 but i cant see it anywhere anymore. Point is that i think when i was unranked i was getting another unranked new players, but becouse i wrecked them all it placed me to 7, not sure if its good or not but i cant keep up here. Fortified Regiment seems useless to me, and commandos are just total mystery to me how should they work. The massive unused resources are very common for me when playing brits I have never played OKW becouse i dont own them as a faction, so i only know they rely on those halftrucks, fuel and aggresive early game. Its important yes and im sure the strategist well help you with this. If you are an expert in using ALL hotkeys, control groups and or tactical map you can beat most opponents building whatever you like. You have a huge edge right from the start. My advice to new player is to learn to use ALL hotkeys first. After that get working on strategy and builddorders. Brits is an ability and timing sensitive faction so using hotkeys makes the faction 10x stronger. Thanks, seems i have to start using keyboard. In: Replay Reviews
Thread: OKW vs BRITISH 1v1 CROSSROADS12 Jul 2016, 07:04 AM 0 VS INSECT33 Razputin OKW vs BRITISH by: Razputin map: Crossroads 3 - OK i switched from SOVIET to BRITS and once again i got crushed by OKW. I am pretty sure that the rush on the OKW FLAK TRUCK wasnt a good idea, but i really LACK EXPERIENCE in those situations so i didnt know what does more damage. I think my early game isnt that bad, but after i build a M3 ARMORED i lose track what to build next. My plan is to stay alive to bring out Cromwell later, maybe its becouse i have only basic COMMANDERS. I have no idea what to build in the MID-GAME. Should i spam more Engineers to cap all over map so enemy cant be everywhere? Should i build BOFORS or MORTAR? Which INFANTRY UPGRADES and when? For the replay itself, i definitely should build more VICKERS from the start, he BLOBBED quite often. The KING-TIGER was total surprise for me, but i was quite succesful at holding it at bay. I only lost 2 squads to it in 1 shot, i wasnt aware he can wipe 2 squads in 1 shot. I wanted to get rid of his FLAK TRUCK but i got nothing LONGRANGE that early. Maybe i should pick HAMMER TACTICS in the end but i dont really like it, for me CHURCHILL is far better then COMET becouse i always lose it so fast. The GAMMON GRENADES may help tho. In general bolt action rifles and lmgs are good at long range, semi autos are good at mid and close, and smgs are great at short. It's a bit more complicated than that, but you will learn most of it through practice - Cover only works directrionally except for craters. You want the cover in between your squad and the enemy, just because you have the cover icon come up doesn't mean it is helping. Thanks Tobis, that may introduce me more into depth of the game. All my previous games was just Oshteer building 3 MGs camping them to houses at VPs. In: Replay Reviews

This is my first game vs OKW and i think my biggest struggle was finding answer to Sturmpioneers and recovering after i got wrecked on 20. minute. I´d be glad for any advice i can get. P.S please use full names while describing some things, i am still not very aware of some terms you are commonly using.
