Thread: Company of Artillery2 Apr 2016, 09:43 AM If you look at steamcharts, its the lowest it has ever been, average of 5000 people. It went down 25% when they added the new brit commanders. To give you perspective: http://steamcharts.com/search/?q=company+of+heroes+2 There are as many people playing age of empires 2 (1999) as there are playing this pile of shit. Thread: Company of Artillery2 Apr 2016, 09:36 AM I have nearly 2000 hours in game, been a lot of back and forth with balance but its just too much anymore. Every match is just mass artillery. 2-3 mortar pits, couple field guns, 6 mortar teams, land mattress, calliope...give me a fucking break. Its like there is more artillery units in the game then their is fucking frontline fighting units. Nerf artillery into the dirt again, mortars for both sides, field guns, rockets, all of it, it takes away so much from the whole core aspect of micromanagement and cover. And the best, most incredible thing that Relic has added yet is the British emplacement commander ability to have their artillery counter any indirect fire...for free. Try to counter a bofors with a mortar? Fucking think again guy. Were they smoking crack when they thought of this ability...no really what ever you were smoking when you thought this would be a good idea, I want it. Maybe then I could bare sitting 15 min in que to put up with how fucked they made this game. In: COH2 Balance

We weren't in a bad spot by 12 min but every German player by that point had p4s and stukas. We held our fuel the whole game and still were just getting out basic medium armor. There has been a lot of stuff they have patched that is clearly just a matter of l2p, I get that but you cant defend this shit. Shit like this is why so little play anymore. To put that in perspective age of empires 2 (made 16 years ago in 1999) has 7000 average players. Go to steamcharts.com to check out. Nonstop total imbalance destryoed this game to the point where ppl need to lose their jobs. Think about some new guy trying to get into the game. Depending which patch he's on the wrong side of. For example can you imagine just getting this game today and playing a couple matches as allies you would say fuck this and uninstall, That being said I still play and have fun with it. I post those facts to point out relic gives no fucks if you play or not boycotting would do nothing. In: COH2 Gameplay

Well if your: British, infantry takes up 10 pop so so can have only 2-4. American, riflemen at 280 a pop are just not worth it to spam 7 of like volks. Riflemen are great at killing infantry, not infantry and Armor like volks. Unlike the OKW player who can make the 1 stop shop volks American players have to play the game and get other units to counter the 14 min KT. Russian, lol. Either way you miss the point of my post, scaled pricing due to amount of units would be a deterrent to spamming for all sides not just OKW. In: COH2 Gameplay
