Thread: Balancing dropable weapons 5 Apr 2017, 16:23 PM The issue is more complicated than RE. For instance: Lmg34 or shreck dropped become allot mote stronger on the hands of cheaper units. Weapon from the UKF M5 are very hard to balance in the hand of every unit that can pick them up. Weapons in the hands Of Ostrruppen are more powerful. In: COH2 Gameplay

Would be useful when flanked or if player needs to stay under mortar fire a few more seconds. Nerf them any more and USF will fall apart. Again Pathfinder are inline with JLIRS and are balanced, they would be used allot more if they where available in any other army. There is no real need to buff them. The Stuart has nothing to do with riflemen performance or infantry balance. The nerf to riflemen was at vet 3 so it has little impact on early infantry fights. If and when riflemen are toned down the road will be open for other units to be buffed if there is a need to be buffed. Unit balance and faction balance are separate issues most of the time unless directly implement in faction design. Compared to USF most Ostheer and Soviet infantry seem like a to UP. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Airborne company5 Apr 2017, 09:37 AM USF get 3 T0 units. There should be room for all those units to work and there should be room for doctrinal units to work. There is a number of changes that can be made to better design USF. (for instance the promotion system) The basic point I made here that buffing doctrinal USF units to make more attractive compared to riflemen is not the way to go since riflemen are already OP. Either wise the only thing you will see would riflemen, riflemen and riflemen. In: COH2 Balance

Untill the end of the April, when Balance team can concentrate on making new general patch. At the moment all this conversations about inconsistencies are out of scope of the current patch (GCS patch). It seem that the goal of the next patch is decided before the previous patch is released. That why imo the next patch (not GCS patch) should only fix major balance issue if there any and focus on the big number of small issue that exist. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Airborne company5 Apr 2017, 08:41 AM The performance of riflemen is to high leaving little room for doctrinal infantry. They should be toned down. For instance riflemen have access to smoke that on top of everything else disables vehicles weapons since they have a mortar they do not need anymore. My response aim at people asking for Pathfinder buffs not P47 buff. The only buff pathfinder need is reducing reinforcement time but so odes most of 4 men elite 4 men squads. In: COH2 Balance
