I think a good way to stop spamming and blobbing is to implement the unit limit system. For exemple, the number built of Panzershreck was 289.151 (utilize by all Axis Forces in Europe: Germany, Italy, Romania, Finland, Hungary // so we are talking about 7-9 mil soldiers, and we will see that was 1 SHRECK for 25-30 SOLDIERS). Well, where is the accuracy if we give all Volks Squad 1 or 2 shrecks (1 shrek every 3-6 soldiers)? The same with Bazookas, lmg, smg, mg, tanks and all other units in game. This thing will prevent blobbing, alongside with a system that is using penalty for every group of 3+ squad that are together. In that way, the game will be more strategic and players will be forced to use combined arms and not spamming the same unit again and again. Relic should consider this assets. What do u folks think? Currently you're whining that OKW got changed while whining that Relic isn't delivering enough changes, but if they went back to mega-patch every month and a half, you'll whine that it took too long and that OKW is still broken.

Warspoils hasn't been fixed, I still have 3 godam Rifle companies, (got the last 2 after I purchased the first:thumbsup . OKW economy revamp is a bloody circus, 100% economy+luchs rush=cancer. I play quite a bit, and on a semi-competitive level. So yea, don't really feel like being quiet.

Come on guys, it's a week after a hotfix and a week before a major holiday. Chill and just appreciate that they took the time to do something before Christmas.
The change to Tommies is a good first step to making UKF competitive again and no more JT + KT combo is a good first step to OKW no longer completely dominating late game in large team games.

Fausts are fire and forget, don't miss (unless those weird faust bugs still exist) and are less than half the current upgrade on Volks. The reason you don't see this currently is because 1. Only fausts accessible to OKW are doctrinal, and come on an expensive unit that isn't spammable and 2. Ostheer has so many other munitions upgrades and mines that you're in most cases incentivized to spend your munitions on upgrades and other abilities rather than float them for fausts; This isn't really an issue for OKW, where their meta has more or less revolved around their core infantry since their existence, of which only have the one pschreck upgrade.
Since the resource change I've never had munitions issues as OKW. Removing one of their highest costing munition upgrades and replacing it with a one time use before cooldown, slightly less damage snare that costs significantly less... What do you think is going to happen? You're still gonna have blobs, they're still gonna be a significant threat to medium armor (probably even more so because now they'll snare after 1-2 fausts), and on top of that people think its a good suggestion to give them even more AI capability? Please.

Why?
This game isn't fun when people turtle and build sim cities (admittedly, mainly a big team game issue) and it's less fun when people blob. Long range indirect punishes (and is the most effective hard counter to) this sort of play. It encourages smart infantry movement, aggressive play, and risk taking that makes the game a hellvua lot more fun than sitting your Elefant + Jagdtiger combo amidst a sea of bunkers and Panthers.
Idk if you mainly play Ostheer, but obviously that faction has some of the best defensive options in the game w/ MG42 bunkers, Pak-43s, S-Mine fields, Tellers, etc. Throw in a OKW Flak HQ and you have a position that is almost unassailable. There's need to be a counter to this and that's your Calliope, Walking Stuka, PWerfer, and Katy.
The rocket artillery is part of COH 2's gameplay. You'll punish with it and get punished by it plenty of times. Nothing wrong with it.
Now with all that said, the Calliope barrage is pretty devastating. I wouldn't object to it being a bit louder when it fires so Axis players have a better chance to react.

Here's my idea, lets make the most innocuous and benign changes to Coh 2, especially after the negative reception to the OKW economy revamp, and the absolute circus that is 2 vs 2 3 vs 3 and 4 vs 4, and make the most unnecessary, benign changes to the game that everybody will continue to ridicule our work ethic and ability to gather congruent information from a large pool of our dedicated players.
Sounds good, lets grab some Tim Hortons.
