Anyways, I was pretty sure I picked tank combat (where's my side armor?), pathfinding (derping out when vehicles run into flagpoles), and modding (includes custom aesthetics and all) as my choices of 3 most important aspects to be improved.

Welp, I just got back into the game after finishing the first wave of exams, and boy, do I suck. I got into a huge losing streak playing OKW. Also, there was noticeable input lag, don't think it's my connection because other games work perfectly fine. Either way, I think this was a game I should have won, but I failed to close out the game. Confessions: - Howitzer was a waste of MP. - Miss-clicked Panther and threw it away. Yes. Individual model drops, even if you don't lose the squad, cost you Company Strength. Therefore, researching a vehicle-based army composition is very helpful in maintaining company strength. I do believe I made a mistake when I did not clarify that my definition of "best" implies "well-balanced" and "competitive".
I would say that thread is much more "which 4v4 map do you dislike" than "which 4v4 map is well designed". I do, however, have a small request: could you get me a picture of the tactical map of your map (6-8) Arnhem?

This build works perfectly fine for both OKW and WM. Against WM you woun't need to rely on the AT Partisans as much but you'll have to execute better flank attacks because WM play is centered around their MG42s. On the other hand, it is much easier to just spam T-34s in late game and win that way against WM because they don't have any seriously heavily armored tanks (e.g. OKW Tiger II) |

I'd like to see three core commanders per faction, and 3-6 additional DLC/Paid/Supply Commanders per faction slowly released over a long period of time. Each one should be unique, thematically consistent, viable, and promote fluid gameplay (e.g. no turtle doctrines like CoH1 Fortifications or CoH2 Advanced Emplacement). This would remove the balancing issues with custom commanders (although that's a really awesome idea too). In: COH2 Gameplay |

Generally, this is the build: -T1 -Penal -Penal -Penal -Penal -Medics -Combat Engineer -T3 -T-70 -T4 -T-34/76 Use Rapid Conscription during mass infantry pushes, just remember to not lose Penals in the process. Pop AT Partisans to counter OKW Luchs. After the initial T-34 you can either spam T-34/76s or get SU-85(s) against heavy armor. |
