Thread: Artillery Cover8 Feb 2017, 23:29 PM its OP on small maps such as crossing in the river to where its AOE is within the base, and on top of that the ability does attack units outside the radius. unlike sector artillery, your getting the most bang for your buck, there is no show, there is no wasted rounds. all rounds hit directly on your infantry and tanks. maximum effectiveness with no counter play except for complete removal of the area, which, is a pretty large area. One of the few I win buttons left in the game. Increase reaction time Or Reduce area of effect OR Have it effect all tanks and infantry in the area including friendlys. Don't get me started on the alien technology of bracertain, and self repair. And both of them at the same time. Relic is brainless. In: COH2 Balance

I myself never play 1v1. But 99% 2v2. And Imo, most of the time on twitch I see team games. Remove team games from coh2 and support your gonna just remove most of the player base. Thread: Microless teching28 Jan 2017, 17:05 PM Lemme just say, with OH being to upgrade without weapon racks makes no difference, considering they have to retreat back to base they can easily get a weapon then. As for USF having a forward retreat point, and weapon racks. The difference to retreat back to base isn't all that much, never the less game changing. I don't think weapon racks and field upgrades are worth mentioning, tho I admit, having a LMG on a storm pio squad would be neat. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Microless teching28 Jan 2017, 14:21 PM I would add a poll but I'm too lazy to. But my argument is for removing microless or micro less (however you should put it) tech from the game. Specifically speaking for USF then as well as UKF, a unit should have to return to the base to build the new tech. This would give a more of an incentive and a reward to killing or keeping a starter unit such as a rear echelon. I do not find it fair (for the lack of words) that OH and SU has to sacrifice a potential minesweeper or flamer unit to retreat to base then to build a tier building. In that time is one less unit on the field mean while for Western front armies is one more unit on the field. That orrrrrr. Have OH and SU base buildings pre layout such as that like the USF/UKF buildings. And teaching requires a simple push of a button. (Timing can be adjusted) and obviously they wouldn't be rewarded a unit so on n so fourth. Maybe I'm crazy maybe I'm not. In: COH2 Balance

From that point it's legit a point n shoot for OH units. There is a reason why 9/10 games on 2v2 calliope and Landmattress are used. Simply because of the often wipes of axis infantry. Unit preservation is never rewarded but often punished due to the units I mentioned above. Besides Brummbar, and strum tiger, generally speaking, there aren't much other axis tanks that just completely squad wipe off 1 shot as much as the Allied counterpart. It's bullshit and cheesy. That's why I see the same shit in every game In: COH2 Balance

Buff ostwinds accuracy Remove bazooka from rifleman. Fix .222 movement, as in its pathing and agility is just terrible. As well as increasing its accuracy. That way OH has a light vehicle that has a shock capability. Decrease rifleman accuracy while on the move with bars. Or remove accuracy bonus against retreating squads. After all, universally speaking axis infantry are survivability is terrible due to all the rocket artillery so on n so fourth In: COH2 Balance
