(and many other questions)11 Apr 2019, 22:29 PM 3-4 Tommies with a UC against OKW and a Vickers after you tech Tier 2 and get out a squad of Sappers and an AT Gun for enemy light's. After that go AEC if multiple light's are causing problems. Bolster your Tommies and press for a Cromwell/ Firefly and then go Churchill or Crocodile. In: UKF Strategies
Thread: StuGs11 Apr 2019, 22:23 PM I think Stug's currently aren't really too cost-efficient against medium tanks but are useful if your opponent has opted for multiple light vehicles such as T-70's, Stuarts, AEC, M8's and the AA HT which are all units Ostheer struggles against with just access to Tier 2. The 34-76 might be the only medium tank I think the Stug can match up with pretty evenly, maybe the Cromwell but in most cases I would rather get a P4 to duel most non-doctrinal allied mediums. Thread: Give 222 smoke by default?6 Apr 2019, 23:43 PM I would say I just wish 222's didn't take so much damage from small arms fire, it makes it risky to charge up to infantry even if they don't have snares since you might take just enough damage that a stray AT Gun shot or Light Vehicle could possibly hunt you down. Panzer Tactician is probably too good to be available non-doctrinally although I wish the AEC smoke had to be shot out either like the Smoke Shell or Smoke Canisters(M4 Sherman). In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Heavy Tank Call-Ins4 Apr 2019, 00:56 AM I almost would like to see Heavies placed behind all forms of tech similar to the King Tiger. Require USF to go CPT/LT/Major for USF, T1-T4 for Soviets, T1/T2 and Hammer or Anvil for the British and require all 4 tiers for Ostheer and all three trucks for OKW. This way all factions have to heavily invest in order to get the call-in tank. But at minimum the changes Lago mentioned would be great for the game. I know the Tiger call-in being tied to all three tech structures in the new commander might end up being to much but that is probably due to the Command Panther still not requiring tech. Hopefully call-in's can be fixed because I really feel it's one of the biggest things holding this game back from being fun to watch at a really high level. In: COH2 Balance

It does not need to buffed. If T-34/85 feel better it is because it got its mg ninja buffed the same time T-34/76 by accident. And the 2 unit are currently different, one is more durable the other has a better gun. The only thing KV-1 needs is different vet 1 abilities and different vet bonuses. To be honest I don't really even want the KV-1 to have a price change, I would rather have the 85 be 140 fuel so cost-wise they are about the same. If the price was changed on the KV-1 I would only want it to be changed marginally, maybe 20 manpower and 5 fuel at the most. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: A little OKW change26 Mar 2019, 23:39 PM I was wondering what you guys thought about a change like the following, currently OKW has a problem dealing with the WC51/M3/UC early on due to the lack of reliable counters. The Rak is extremely RNG and mines can work but require some luck in order for the opponent to hit them. I was thinking it would be reasonable to allow OKW to gets snares with their first truck in order to prevent light vehicles from bullying them so hard early on. In change, the Incendiary Grenades will require a truck to be set up before being available. This change in particular would assist USF in the early game as Riflemen typically are outnumbered by Volks and are often forced out of cover by the use of Incendiary nades. Ostheer already gets their fausts with Tier 1 so I don't believe it would be crazy to allow fausts after the 15 fuel is invested. In change all other factions have to invest in side-tech to have grenades or in the case of Ostheer, Battlephase 1. The only faction that has to invest in side-tech for snares is Soviets and although their snares are overpriced and probably need to be looked at, that topic is for a different time.
