The volks nade is already twice the cost and is the only non-doc way to deal with garrisoned units or emplacements. Why does the volks nade need a nerf?
The delay does not interfere with the anti garrison or emplacements since it still goes off. It just adds in a bit of reaction time seeing that there extremely little to no room to dodge it like any other grenade.
Instead of buffing the Molotov. The Molotov is cheap and actually quite good for its cost. Why not nerf its counter part, the volks incendiary grenade, by adding a 1.5 second timer like other grenades?
I hate to say this but, Relic will probably not spend any more time developing new units. Additionally how would these units be actually different from the current units. They would have to fill a void to be unique.
It's tactical, skill based and balanced so we both agree that it's definately not COH ...
......
before being a kid and saying "it's not coh so it's garbage", take some time to look at it. It's almost 90% coh like, just a bit more tactical.
I have not looked at Steel Division closely but I will most likely play out like Wargame. Trying to compare Wargame to CoH is like trying to compare Starcraft 2 to CnC 3. CnC 3 is much faster pace and has a better counter system while SC 2 is more about micro and DPS. Steel Division is going to be slower and probably more vehicle focused while CoH is more infantry focused and faster pace.
What about Pack howi
compare ISG
Cost Isg Cheaper
Range Pack 160 in barrage shot ISG 100 in barrage
shot per barrage Pack 3 shot Isg 4 shot
Cooldown pack 60 sec ISG 30 sec
Actually the Pack Howie in my opinion is better any day of the weak even though it has less shots per barrage. Anyways, like the Sniper incendiary shot the barrage attack does not follow the cool down of the previous weapon thus it can actually "double tap" a target. I love the Pack Howie so much I would rather prefer it than a Land Mattress! (I must be crazy.)
New infantry Section Upgrade
Recon supplies 40 Munitions
-adds Recon Mode
-adds the Tank Hunker's Heat Grenade
-adds additional sight like pyrotechnics
Recon mode disables weapons, forces crawling, gains additional sight, and enables camouflage. While in this mode they can help spot for positioning and advancing.
USF and UKF medics new ability:
Triage Center
-similar to Captain's Supervise
-Target Production Building, glider, or UKF Forward HQ gains a Heal aura.
-Substitute for sometimes micro intensive individual medics.
-Able to target ALLIED buildings to allow team play. (Soviet player does not have medics yet, now he does.)
Here is my idea that I have been experimenting around with.
New Unit
High Commissar (T0)
-300 Manpower
-Uses munitions support abilities to lead soviet units to allow better scaling in the late game.
-Initial Commissar has a longer deploy time
-Shared Veternacy
Abilities:
Mod:
This will allow soviets to have a non doctrinal Munition's sink while able to make conscripts more able to fight against better equipped units. Additionally it will access to a more resilient tank, the KV1.

Ostheer
Bundle Grenades now replaced with Stick Grenades
Due to the squad wiping nature, I am replacing with a smaller grenade.
Equal to the Mills bomb
UKF
Light gammon
Due to the squad wiping nature, I am replacing with a smaller grenade.
Now equals to Mills bomb
Valentines

Tactical Assault

On a side note, the Panther and the Tiger are overrated in real life. Shermans, Panthers, and Tigers all had a 50% mechanical failure rate before ever seeing combat. Over all, I believe T34/85s are considered the best overall tank of the war in most historians eyes.
