And there are three other teammates that can build Jacksons and Su 85s? Whats your point?
Also its funny that you disregard AT guns late game. The entire point of veterancy is to to keep your units alive and be rewarded late game with vet 3 AT guns.
As you can see, Jagd completely negates Su-85s and Jacksons especially when it is backed up by Panthers & King Tigers. AT guns can be difficult to keep alive in large maps as I mentioned above, not to mention Obers eat them fast. Soviet infantry barely scales late game.
The whole point is, Two heavies (1 player) were on the field where all we can field are mediums and 1 heavy. |
Use soviet TD's and ZiS not T-34/76's, backed up by mark target you can counter heavies fine. JT can be pushed back by a single AT gun and once flanked/caught out of position is hopeless thanks to stun locks.
KT is so slow you can counter it with any vehicle over 40 range.
Honestly OKW players that know how to use Jagdpanzers and Stukas are far more scary than someone holding out for KT spam.
AT guns run their uses late game, map also contributes how fast AT guns can reach the battle field. General Mud for example is too big for the AT guns to move to a critical area. |
Get Su 76s and 85s?
Like, learn to counter?
You should play 4 v 4s and see how you can counter with Su-76s and 85s. Don't forget there are 3 other opponents that can build Panthers. |
While axis can get 1 tiger, you can get normally 4 T85, so who has the *power* now
What if I don't pick Guards mortar? You expect Allies to stop Panthers, KTs and Jagds with 1 IS2s and bunch of garbage mediums? |
Lol all i see is a really bad Allied team or a team of AI. Or both.
This was a top 5 team as Axis, we are not too bad either. |
Who gives a shit KT's are bad and overpriced . And t if he manages to get 2 KT's you really dropped the ball somewhere.
Price shouldn't justify balance at all. At this moment, OKW is free to roam with Heavy tanks, especially late game. Don't forget in 4 v 4s OKW has no problem fielding two. My only problem is that T-34 and Su-85s on certain maps cannot do the job where if I had two IS-2s or ISU-152. In 4 v 4s, the Axis can field more than one Panthers, P4s and now Heavies. The only thing I can build is ONE IS-2 and shitty T-34s against that match up. |
Heavy Tank Limit created by yours truly Relic has shifted the tank power to Axis. I think it is hilarious how OKW can build 2 heavy tanks while Soviets are restricted to 1. The funny thing about this is, Soviets medium armor "T-34/76" is garbage against P4 and Su-85s struggle against Panthers. The only viable strategy is T-34/85 callin?
Relic should either limit ALL armies to 1 Heavy or substantially buff Soviet medium armor.
|
I wonder if the community will react the same as they did with this patch when Relic decides to add Pershing. I assume half of the players who play ALL armies would love this, but Axis only n00bs would cry the most. |

Btw, I like your Steam icon. Yuri's revenge was on of the best RTS games out there. I hope they remake RA2 someday. |
Yeah the decision to not include the changes were medium call in's were tied to teching is really odd considering they admitted call in's were a problem with heavies.
Also Lemon I think the issue people are having against Guard Motor and Rifle Company is the combination of abilities, not single ones by themselves.
MG's shut down guards, yes, but 120's shut down MG's. MG's shut down riflemen, but smoke and white phos shut down MG's. Icing on the cake is mark vehicle and non-exploding high AoE flamer rifles.
Then of course you have the added later punch of call in's, simply put: there is zero downside to going these commanders because there is no trade off, no disadvantage.
Dude, Soviet mortars (hard counter for MGs and Paks) got nerfed to bat shit. How can you still complain about Guards mortar and T-34 call ins? The Stug with Pak walls is damn amazing. Without precision strike, Soviet mortars accuracy is garbage honestly. |
