If a person puts the effort into getting a Vet 5 squad, they deserve the vet 5 bonus's. It's fairly rare on any unit that's not Volks. And Ostheer doesn't have vet 5 because Ostheer isn't OKW. Not really hard logic to follow. In: COH2 Balance |

Slippery slope fallacy has no place in balance discussion. But to humor you the reason OKW has 5 levels of vet is to reflect the late war German army and to make the faction more distinct. It's starting to feel less like people want balance, and more for OKW just to be ironed down into Ostheer 2.0 Factions can be unique with out being OP/UP. The Vet system is a problem for Volks because they vet up to fast, but for other OKW units it takes ages to vet up due to the fact your almost ALWAYS shooting at lower cost units. The Sturmtiger/Stuka are probably the hardest to vet units in this game, simply because of what they shoot at. In: COH2 Balance |

A vet 5 squad should be more durable than a vet 3 squad because in this instant squad wipe RNG meta that person has probably done a fair bit of micro to keep said squad alive. If we are talking about Volks, I agree that they should get less veterancy from shreks. In: COH2 Balance |

If you enemy is spamming fallsch just crush him with tanks. You can't spam fallsch and still maintain a volks blob. But you probably consider 1-2 Fallsch to be spam, so what's the point. Luftwaffe is one of the worst OKW doctrines atm, no idea how you could be having issues with it. In: COH2 Balance |

The reason it's not been implemented is because it fucks everyone. There should be more blob counters, it's lazy and stupid just to make it so if your infantry is close together it takes more damage as that has nothing to do with skill and everything to do with the fact the maps are small and unit path finding is literal shit.
