Thread: CoH2 Community18 Jan 2016, 00:55 AM Is it me or has the CoH2 community or 1v1 gone really toxic? You rarely get a 1v1 game now where ppl dont wish you cancer once you lose the game. How many 12 year olds have bought the game recently? I've never remembered it being this bad. Thread: Luchs12 Dec 2015, 21:19 PM I think the Luchs is perfectly fine against Sovies and USF. Brits on the other hand... As Brits, you can't maintain map presence and pressure as easily as OKW can. So OKW will always get to a fuel point before you do, and without any vehicle snares, you are forced to go AT which further reduces your AI capabilities. And even AT is not the end all in brit engagements, you still need to hit the Luchs 3 times to kill it, assuming it doesn't flank you, which is encouraged by the fact Brits have no snares. Its helping in making Brits vs OKW completely imbalanced, so there needs to be some tweaks in that regard. Its worse than the 5 min T-70 that Wehr faced with Sov industry. In: COH2 Balance

Its impossible for brits to go toe to toe with OKW with map capping, so OKW inevitably gets their fuel point. That along with half the map is enough for them to quickly pump out Luchs after Volks come out. Essentially, Luchs timing is pretty much bringing things back to the 5 minute T70 when Sov Industry was the thing against Ostheer, except Brit infantry don't have any vehicle snares. What do you do? It's pretty cool, tactically. Its essentially becomes a RNG based investment which doesn't do damage, I don't like it. Especially with OKW base defences being able to shoot down supply planes. I find it annoying when the soviet supply planes get shot out of the sky, especially when I'm fighting against OKW where base emplacements can shoot down planes (I don't mean the schwerer, I mean the actual base emplacements)... where's the skill in that? Thread: pro at micro, suck at macro, advice?21 Nov 2015, 08:23 AM Jump back to quoted post21 Nov 2015, 07:19 AMmadbull BUT THIS DOESN'T MATTER because I suck at the big picture - often get flanked - can't guess the enemy movement - don't know when to play passive when aggressive - always get territory/cut-offs taken away - often get baited into traps Firstly, welcome to the 1v1 scene, its challenging but its really where you get better at the game. Your list is actually closer to micro than macro in this game. And I'm afraid it requires more experience than anything - after a while playing you may suspect traps and all of this. Probably the best thing you can do about it is play with a competent player in a 2v2 setting with voice comms and he will probably tell you what to do when it comes to these things. Macro is more like - have I got the right unit composition to deal with what my opponent has, what does my opponent has, how do I deal with it, where do I place my units around the map. PLEASE PLEASE give me some advice on HOW to improve my 1v1 game. I watch the Propagandacast but it's not helpful. I might start watching some replays of my own but I wouldn't be able to tell if I'm having a bad game or just my opponent is too pro. Sad face Personally, I don't like Propogandacast that much.
