It's not like they're a builder unit required for teching. I wonder how different things would be if OKW started with a volk squad instead. Kubel starts would be harder since there wouldn't be the fastest repairing unit around by default. The Puppchen just being available will remain the best deterrent against allies rushing for any kind of vehicle. And OKW always needs more volks. I dunno, the WFA armies are such a cluster that it's hard to approach balance without suggesting fundamental changes. Your dream might comes true. Careful with what you wish for. In: COH2 Balance

OKW's Volks and ST have the Salvage option, which destroy Support weapons and wrecks. Why others faction do not have something like this? Of course, they would just disable the support weapon and not yield ressources. I thought of this because, as a USF/OStheer/SU player, the only way you have to "deny" lost support weapon is to bomb them and it costs quite a lot of ammo. What do you think about that?
