Thread: Ostheer T4 Viability3 Aug 2015, 20:51 PM I only build Ostheer T4 for the Panther. No other reason to get it. Panzerwerfer is shit. There´s nothing the Brummbär can do, what the Ostwind can´t do more cost efficiently. Considering T3 is a must these days and that the IS-2 is limited to one vehicle at a time, StuGs and Panzer IVs do quite well. So even the Panther is redundant. I voted for the option that the units don´t pack enough of a punch. At least the Panzerwerfer and Brummbär that is. In: COH2 Gameplay

You don´t need to attack for the first 5-7 minutes with your gren, just stay in cover and hold your fuel until you feel comfortable to start to push back. That´s how you lose the game as Ostheer. You can´t run in later into a wall of Maxims, Zis + Flak ht + mines. German late game has been nerfed. Just stop it with the "Axis just need to wait". That´s not true any longer - definitely not when facing Soviets. USF is a different case. But that´s a problem with the army design, not of the Axis factions. In: COH2 Gameplay

Below Top200, at equal skill Axis are much more forgiving than Allied. You can only lose if you have been outplayed. If I feel I´m not going to be 100% focused, I switch to Ostheer because the faction is damned simple to play. That´s simply not true. 4men squads standard are not forgiving to play. Especially not versus ammo-floating Soviets with omni-purpose mines and a focus on artillery. In: COH2 Gameplay
