Thread: Elite troops, Soviet industry, vet riflemen.21 Mar 2016, 17:00 PM What about the Tiger Ace? A unit that can´t vet up and punishes you for keeping it alive for a longer time. A tank that arrives even if you have been denied all fuel. A unit that arrives way too late at the highest CP cost in the game. This is what truly does not fit into the game. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Elite Troops21 Mar 2016, 13:31 PM I thought about creating a topic about the Tiger Ace. It is hard to define. It´s never really balanced. It´s either totally OP or totally crippling due to the resource penalty. Keeping the Tiger Ace alive punishes you rather than reward you. Thus I see the thing being used in yolo-rushes to do as much damage as possible. This is not how Coh is meant to be played. The economy damage should be taken out of the game and a fuel cost should be added. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: T 34s20 Mar 2016, 13:52 PM I think the T-34/76 should go down in price. As some others have pointed out the price isn´t all about the fuel cost but also manpower. Losing one should be part of your strategy and not hurt you much. Could be 200mp 75 fuel. That or the vet changes I suggested earlier. Though crap T-34s en masse would keep the Soviet charm. If I get matched with a person I don´t like, I go to the desktop for 5-10 minutes and then start to search again. Most of the times that works and I don´t get matched with them again. The feature as you suggest it won´t make it into the game, I´m afraid. You could ban so many people that you would only get matched together with the best in the game. Everybody would do it then. And then the search times go up. I think your best option is to look for a good teammate. In: Lobby
Thread: T 34s19 Mar 2016, 14:14 PM The real problem is Soviet vet. A vet3 T-34/76 will blow up to 4 Pak hits just like a vet0 T-34/76. This means keeping your T-34s intact until lategame barely helps you. You have a bit faster reload and better mobility. Yet if you drive into a single ambush your vet is almost absolutely useless. Thread: Double trouble15 Mar 2016, 23:53 PM Fun and crazy game. Lasts a bit over an hour. Double Su-85s, double Fireflies, 2x double King Tigers, double Katjuschas. Huge battle around the central VP + a Vet5 Raketenwerfer and Vet3 croc for the lols. The King Tigers also ended up being high vet before some of them blew up. In: Replays

As OKW going walking stuka -the natural counter to emplacements- is useless due to brace. Dunno what needs to be done, but getting the cure to the cancer is hard while playing OKW. Appart from that, game is so boring as soon as cancer commander is in the loadout of a brit player. But this would go in another topic... Brace should cost munitions. 20 ammo per brace seems reasonable for an invincibility button. This way you can at least be sure your artillery salvo had an effect - in that case draining the other players ammo. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Let's talk about ostheer.13 Mar 2016, 12:52 PM In my opinion Ostheer struggles way too much throughout the game. Others can simply spam Volks, Maxims, Rifles and so on. While Ostheer has to combine arms. Spamming Grens can also work but they are way more fragile than other infantry. Thus their gameplay is hardest. Back in the days you used to get rewarded for staying in the game with them. Nowadays Tigers etc. are done with some salvos of Jacksons, AT etc. I haven´t seen Brummbär at all during the last months and even the Panzer IV is outclassed by Cromwells. Last but not least they lack dependable Elite infantry. PGs are still not worth it in my opinion. During the course of the game your army is mediocre at everything. The only glance of hope that keeps Ostheer in the game is the good support weapons - PAK, MG42. In: COH2 Balance
