USF have so many ways to kill it... Mortars, AT gun without resigning from MH and AT mines, cheap pack howie.
And it's not easy even for Soviets.
I saw a game Paula vs Jesulin (I guess) on Kholodny.
Very good etc but that's not the point.
The point is, once Schwerer was built, there was not chance for Jesulin to take cut off.
Once or twice he manage to get fuel but it;s only because Schwerer vision was blocked by trees.
He was not able to kill it, he was not able to cut off, while he did not have anything to prevent his cut off like OKW can.
No place to shoot with AT gun, and mortaring takes ages.
And you want to tell me, that Schwerer is not a problem?

back in coh1 you could move trucks anytime u wanted or felt unsafe lol, and back in coh1 the economy for that faction wasn't 66% fuel 80 % compared to other factions.

That damn OKW AA shcwerer truck is so broken, it deals so much damage to tanks, insane range supressing squads, killig infantry in a sec, so broken.
Will it be fixed in the upcoming patch?

Also, to be fair, think this way that how Ost player is supposed to counter hordes of rifles/paras with lmg/BAR etc (not to mention the early AA truck/m20 support) when mg42 is not very useful against such blobs. CAS and StugE provides few options for the Ost player to stay in the game |

If you aren't one army hero and actually were on receiving side of STUG-E you wouldn't even question the possibility of it getting a nerf.
Ost is unquestionably the weakest faction in the game which needs a serious change/buff, and yet you allies fanboys want its units to be nerfed!!!

There might be other units in the game which can get nerfed, but stug-E is probably in the bottom of that list |

CAS AT strafe will destroy any arty effortlessly, so while before you had to use 190 mun for it, now you need just 140 to make 600mp go bye bye.
Such balance, much relic.
So, u think arty should not be countered with this commander?
I haven't tested AT strafe against arty, but there's really not much difference, AT strafe is 110, and stuka bombing is 160 (not 110) and u're certain u kill the arty, and when u use CAS the 50 ammo difference doesn't matter much at all. The only reason u may consider using AT strafe against that is when u haven't reached enough CP for Stuka bomb and ur opponent is pressuring u much with dat b4 |
Yes, in 1v1 that's obvious but in team games? It does not matter. You can easily make ML-20, Katy and 2 SU85s.
Although in 2v2 I really often go for B-4 + SU85 + KV1 as dmg sponge + Katy.
yes I meant 1v1, I agree with you about team games, but still howitzer with the amount of damage it can deal can be still a game changer, although it probably works better in some certain maps.
The thing I don't like about COH2 is that in many games, you lose/win to the MAP and not to your opponents. |
