Thread: Airborne company30 Mar 2017, 05:23 AM If you make pathfinders 0 cp most players are either going to decided they are OP and spam them or still underpowered and never get them over rifles, which cost nearly the same, are cheaper to reinforce and basically do the same thing(kill infantry). Though it would be nice to do something other than build 3 rifles at the start In: COH2 Balance

Fix for Sappers and Rear Echelon Flamers? (Not sure what's wrong) 2. Add hold fire for most tanks heavy and medium. 3. Arty cover got changed. Not sure what exactly without opening the file itself. 4. Comet WP DOT changed. Probably a fat nerf. 5. Land Mattress got DM change. Not sure what DM is exactly. 6. Maxim is going to be changed in number of squad members it seems. EDIT: 7. Default prioritise vehicles for all AT guns thank god. They seem to be taking some steps to improve though like supporting the community patch which is nice, though they clearly cant do anything big financially at this time. A lot of people seem to expect a lot from relic because they have made some great games, but i think the reality is a lot of the people who produced some of that work(Homeworld, Coh1, Dow1 even COH2) Aren't there anymore. Even PQ who was big on the balance team isn't there anymore . People like Cruzz may honestly have more experience with Coh2 than some employees since they may have been playing and tinkering with the game for it's entire lifespan. It's been 12 years, people move on. It's ultimately the employees and the culture that are going to shape the games they make and change to that will only come internally. In: Lobby

Additionally, how is one or the other better and in what way? Whermacht is flexible and adaptable, but brittle. They need to support each other but when everythings a clustergarden they are in trouble. But well managed they are almost impossible to beat(Hard to do though). OKW is tough and durable with 5 man squads and great vet, but they mostly rely on infantry spam b/c thats all you can build for the first 5 minutes. They can scale better bc the late game is mostly a clustergarden but have trouble doing basic things like clearing buildings or mgs early on. Wher-Specialists excelling in one role or two roles working together OKW- Builds strength slowly with durable units mixed with lighter mobile heavy damage dealers(you can play agressive with sturms and the kubel early on though b/c they are an elite pioneer unit for that first engagement) In: Lobby

Thread: been gone for 8+ months..3/28 patch worth coming back ?23 Mar 2017, 19:29 PM Was in a similar boat and just started playing again like a month ago. Wher, and soviets are pretty great right now, lots of different ways to win with them Brits are pretty good too, they have some blatently underpriced late game units, but it doesn't really hurt the game for me too much USF is also in a good spot i think, not a great deal of commander variety and mabye the scot is kinda weak but other than that they are doing well lots of units seen used and made effective OKW is weirder than ever and i have no idea if they are ever going to reconcile them like the soviet tweaks but i'm still having fun trying to figure it out. "They are the faction without a soul" Community may be a little salty but honestly the game is still improving In: Lobby
