It was an interesting game but I have to agree with Rush, Giap threw the game hard and played so sub optimally. I find it hard to believe a high tier player would have that much trouble dealing with snipers to be honest, but hey maybe he was just of his stride. I do wish I saw a bit more use of demo charges though
The point of playing the game is to play the game and have fun in it. If you need pointless progression systems there's plenty of other games happy to cater to the carrot on the stick mentality.
This 100%. You should play the game because it's fun, not because you want to level up.
I do have to say, a replay always helps because you may have made a mistake that you are not consciously aware of. Hell casting your own games can help.
As Dullahan said, scouting is very useful for predicting angles of attack and gaining a slight advantage. multiple AT vehicles is also useful, AT infantry like Volks backing up Raketten if also a very vital part of dissuading your opponent from charging forth into your lines. Also make sure to space out your AT guns.
I just want to say, the Bullshitdozer or Bulldozer as you incorrectly call it, is not designed to hit moving targets. It's designed to smash up static targets like MG's AT guns and Bunkers. It's a linebreaker that needs to be supported either by Infantry or actual M4 Shermans. It cannot work on it's own. That's just a simple fact.
It's actually very hard to explain this co-coherently so forgive me if I fail to convey this effectively.
Anti-Tank weapons are not inherently unbalanced, most of the rocket propelled weapons are inaccurate and tend to miss infantry models. IF they do hit the target it's because of RnG, which leads to excitement and adrenaline because of human biology. So their is no basis on a game play level that should indicate that this is broken.
Anecdotal evidence doesn't really confirm what you are saying unless it is logged and repeated easily by anyone challenging your hypothesis. Every time I have Shrek or Bazooka infantry more often than not they'll miss 60% of the time.
Further more from a realism stand point it would make no sense for a soldier not to fire his weapon at an enemy, infantry or otherwise. Infantry were trained to shoot at Tanks and Aircraft though most of these vehicles couldn't be damaged by them.
