Thread: Balance Preview Patchnotes23 Nov 2015, 15:48 PM So I had an idea to somewhat keep the theme of OKW being late war resource strained Germany and slightly slow down the spam of OKW tanks. What if OKW Panther, P4, JP4 costed a little more fuel(like 10-20 each)? This would slow down their arrival and instead of simulating late war Germany resource penalties through actual less resources; it costs more in game due to the inefficiency of such resources. For example late war Germany needed fuel and resorted to using less efficient coal fuel. This would translate into the OKW Panther needing more fuel than a Wher Panther due to it its inefficient fuel source. This way you don't over cost the OKW teching, which could lock some units out of usefulness, and you retain the theme of resource strained through another method. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: suppression and the OKW...22 Nov 2015, 15:00 PM For a year and a half now I have gone Luftwaffe supply in 70% of the OKW games I have played. I will go for the other doctrines every now and then for a change up but MG34s and back-up elite troops in Falls has been my main strategy for all this time. I find the MG34 is only good right after you unlock it, but then quickly dies or becomes obsolete to infantry swarms. It was only ever a small speed-bump to my opponents, which OKW needs to slow down the early capping scramble. With the buff to early game OKW units and the capping of the Kubel, it might not even be necessary anymore. In: COH2 Balance

With 0F at start, Luchs comes the same time as Stuart, which is fine. Maybe just reduce RoF or something like that so it's not that deadly. JP4, P4 and P5 is perfect combination for 1 tier. JP4 - pure 60range AT, P5 - it does not have the range nor rof like JP4, it does not have AI od P4, but it's somewhere between bein able to engage tanks and infantry at some point, P4 - Great AI unit with not bad AT. You need pure AT? JP4. You need something agasint infantry? P4. You are not sure what you want? P5. I have to agree after playing the patch some OKW felt okasy(I still want shreks moved to Sturms and Volks to have fausts and separate weapon upgrade). Luchs could be a tad higher in fuel to delay it sligtly rather than pushing tech back further(units in trucks changes were to make Mech more viable to compete with healin, any further fuel increase could make it too expensive over healing truck). I like JP4, P4 and P5 in the same truck, they all offer good tank options for different scenarios. In: COH2 Balance

I agree, before OKW didn't have a good cheap harassment unit. Volks were just terrible at everything except scaring low HP vehicles. Now with capping Kubel and more armor it can flank and harass better allowing OKW to function more like USF and Soviet armies where they spread the fighting out rather than try to hold one fuel and one VP and tech for superior armor like Ostheer and Brits. I say try it out, the upgraded Volks do much better in combat and the capping Kubel is incredible at harassing. In: COH2 Balance

Why do you need Stormtroopers if you have gren with gewers and pzgren with stg44? Stormtroopers also come with a cheaper single Shrek upgrade over PGrens and can SPAWN FROM BUILDINGS. They have enough uniqueness that I think adding them to Elite troops is fine. In: COH2 Gameplay

Stormtroopers is completely useless in tiger Ace commander because gren have Gewers and stunnade. Have you played the pre-patch mod against real people and every faction in every game mode?
