Assuming he went penals, you will be able to take pretty much the whole map with your early pios. Rush the first penal with 2x pios and you will win, the other 2 pios can be capping. It's easy to take both fuels and a majority of strat points really early, giving you fuel to rush 222. The piospam has a big advantage early early game where they can 1v1 most squads effectively. Skipping t1 lets you get the 222 out really fast, usually about 30ish seconds after the m3, assuming they went 2x penals then m3. Run around and distract the m3 with your pios to stall time and try to hold map presence, once the 222 comes out you can kill it and take it all back. The piospam actually works alot better against t1 because of the synergy of pios and the 222. Conspam runs into problems where the cheap pios can't outcap them very well coimpared to expensive penals and at grenades are alot more dangerous than satchels. In: Replays

It has a bigger aoe than the tiger while having the same point damage, it is not low damage. It even has more penetration than the tiger, and much faster turn. Half your points are completely wrong. The gun trades worse range, scatter, and reload speed for being faster, better armor, better aoe, and better mgs. It is not a bad tank. It is not a king tiger either. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: CoH3 Pacific ?5 Nov 2017, 01:23 AM I don't think it's a problem of maps or faction design that would prevent a full pacific theater game, but the problem that Lelic can't easily introduce new dlc factions. If they go for ww2 again, i expect them to go North Africa. Realy easy to start with Germans/brits, add americans/italians, and they can expand from there even more into europe if they want. If they start with Pacific theater they're really stuck with only one axis power unless they retcon the whole sticking to theaters thing, which is what they should do imo. In: Lobby
Thread: any tips to get fast veterancy ? 23 Oct 2017, 22:22 PM This is speaking out my ass a bit, but I think this is all right. Xp is based on the damage * value of the unit, which is manpower + 4*fuel cost. Basically it's just a function of damage, and you get more xp for damaging more expensive units. You also get some xp for receiving damage, but I don't know at what rate that is. The only real way to manipulate it in your favor is to keep your squads on the field fighting longer. Use the vet1 med kits on your first squad to try to keep them on the field. The difference vet2 makes is massive, so if you can keep them on the field longer gaining vet faster, you can get a strong advantage over the opponent earlier. In: COH2 Gameplay
